Nursing informatics systemrefers to the practices through which individual is able to handle nursing along withmanagement. In this approach various skills and approaches are required in order to maximisehealth promotion activities (Kumaran and Carney, 2014). It helps in providing services to themaximum patients. During this process the nurses have to handle various process such ascommunication, information technology and consultancy and policies. The key elements of nursing informatics are identified as promotional activities,implementation of advance technologies, applying networking and internet for increasingeffectiveness of services (Garneau and Pepin, 2015). Social media is considered as one of thelargest platform for promoting and advertising. Description of Person centred Care and its principles:Person centred care is considered as process through which the people of healthcaresector is able to develop plans and effectively monitor them. It is considered as an essential stepin order to ensure that demands of the users are meet. It helps in determining the needs and ofpatients based on the environment, life experience, values, etc (Craft and et. al., 2017). It is helpsin analysing the requirements of the person, the services are provided by the nursing staff of thehealthcare sector. This process is developed on following eight principles:Respect for patient's preferences, through this principle patients are involved into the planningand decision making activity. It helps in determining the needs and requirements of theindividual. Second principle is based on coordination of care, through this step effectivecoordination is implemented between various unit of the health care industry. The third step isinformation and education, while examination of the patients their worries and fear is identifiedby the doctors (Edgecombe, Jennings and Bowden, 2013). To counter their worries they areconsidering various health promotional and self care activities. It help in making people awareabout the problems. This is the fourth principle, physical comfort is considered in order tomaintain the environment and surrounding of the hospital. The fifth principle of this centred care1
approach is emotional support, with the help of this step the nursing staff is trying to reduce theanxiety and fear of patients. Sixth principle is based on involvement of friends and family.Through this step they are providing accommodation facilities with patients. Family membersare able to take decisions for patients. Along with this the hospital is also providing variousservices for family. The seventh principle is continuity and transition, various informations areprovided related to physical activity of the patients. Along with this continuous support isprovided on the basis of medical, financial and social. The last principle is access to care, withthe help of this transportation, hospitality and appointment related information is provided to thepatients(Nielsen and et. al., 2013). Description of nursing informatics and Social media system:The nursing informatics is considered as a practice thorough which individual is able topromote health care services (Cant, McKenna and Cooper, 2013). For this knowledge of variousother skills are also required such as management, implementation of computer and informationtechnologies and so on. These services can be provided by the registered nurses. There arevarious certification courses are available for the same. With the help of this activity the nurse isable to bring advancement into their organisation. There are various core operations areconsidered that supports effective performance, such as represent ion of concepts and issueswith the help of proper evidence, research facts and figures (Spector, Zhou and Che, 2014). Ithelps in influencing users and make aware with the advance health technologies. For this all thedata should be gathered by considering the standard medical infrastructure and national healthrelated information. Along with this various latest researches and inventions of medical and health careindustry should be considered (Broadbent and et. al., 2014). For effectively implementing theseadvertisements and promotional activities implementation of technologies should be doneeffectively. However, is social media system is considered as a platform thorough whichpromotion and advertisements are done effectively. It is considered as one of the advanceapproach for attracting and making people aware. In this process effective implementation ofinternet and networking is required (Kumaran and Carney, 2014). In this sector various serviceproviders are available such as Facebook, EPAS and electronic health record maintainingsystem.
