INTRODUCTION
Social psychology is a scientific study that related to the individual’s thoughts,
feelings and behaviour which are influenced by imagined and actual presence of others
(Brough, Chataway and Biggs, 2016). In an organisation, it is required for management to
analyse influence of socio psychology in order to minimise business issues and challenges
appropriately. Three major areas of socio psychology as social thinking, social influence and
social behaviour have its own impact on the working practices of an individual and
organisation as well. This essay will going to determine a proper analysis of contemporary
issues in an organisational behaviour that can be affected by socio psychology.
MAIN BODY
In a general term, psychology is known as a study of behaviour, consciousness and
cognition. In this regard, socio psychology is determine as a understanding of individual’s
behaviour, decision and thinking process in a specific social context (Findlay and Thompson,
2017). In terms of business, this knowledge is employ as developing an understanding from
marketing areas, buying and selling activities of a product as well as team leading activities.
In context of a business, this social psychology research take an another place in order to
develop some important relations as between corporation and its customer, management and
its employees as well as between subordinates and their colleagues. All these relationships
are based on business ethics, environment and organisation’s culture. Further another
important aspect in this regard are essential for an organisation as leadership and
management practices that works as a back bone of organisation. Hence, all of these aspects
of business investigate the construction of behaviour, feeling, belief, goals and objectives as
well as its influence on human interaction in a firm. For an organisation, being social, means
creation of wider social network that are enormously important part of organisation’s work
life. Thus, it is required to consider aspects of social psychology by developing a clear and
wide knowledge by analysing benefits and its consequences. For manager and management
of an organisation, it is required to enhance knowledge that how social psychology can create
challenges for an organisation in order to effective implementation of strategies to reduce its
negative impact.
Managerial challenges is one of the most common and important challenge currently
faced by different organisations which are dealing with different people which could be its
employees, customers, shareholder, investors and so on. In this regard major challenge in
