When undertaking a research or enterprise project, Cardiff Met staff and students are obliged to complete this form
in order that the ethics implications of that project may be considered.
If the project requires ethics approval from an external agency (e,g., NHS), you will not need to seek additional
ethics approval from Cardiff Met. You should however complete Part One of this form and attach a copy of your
ethics letter(s) of approval in order that your School has a record of the project.
The document Ethics application guidance notes will help you complete this form. It is available from the Cardiff
Met website. The School or Unit in which you are based may also have produced some guidance documents, please
consult your supervisor or School Ethics Coordinator.
Once you have completed the form, sign the declaration and forward to the appropriate person(s) in your School or
Unit.

Aim is to study and explore measure and to evaluate How and to what extent follow up leads to
successful Acquisition of Construction projects within the Hospitality sector in UAE and how that
can be sustained. This are important steps of any successful sales, there are times when we lose
jobs if not a proper follow up has been done and if do a proper follow up, we can even win the lost
job. This also identify the tools and techniques we require besides what we are doing today and to
be more successful with follow up and closing deals. I trust that this will be a good MBA
Dissertation topic as it will reflect a real life experience as I am intending to study “To Evaluate
How And To What Extent Follow-up Leads to Successful Acquisition Of Construction Projects
within Hospitality Sector in UAE “ which would be a case study of ASSA ABLOY Hospitality, the
leading Manufacturer of electronic security systems and has been a leader in door opening
solutions since 1994 and our team work on various levels so that sales get easier in both locally
and globally.
Objectives:
How to develop a strategic sale?
How all the departments to be involved and to the follow up on customers for payment,
completion and delivery, etc.?
What are the consequences in case of no proper follow ups?

descriptive and evaluation research type. The descriptive design has been chosen to carry out an in
depth research work to properly address the framed set of objectives. However, an evaluation research
will depict a quite widespread study that will assist in evaluating the effectiveness of the acquired results.
This is for instance on considering the present chosen study to assess the efficiency of following up the
leads to acquire construction projects within hospitality sector. This will require an in depth study to
firstly acknowledge the benefits of the follow up procedures by together recognizing its degree of
assistance in attaining more number of leads. The extent of following up leads in terms of benefiting will
be determined with assistance of an evaluative research design. It is where the descriptive research
design will depict the use of quantitative study that will be intended to describe the current status of the
chosen research topic. Qualitative study will be reflecting the use of evaluative research approach where

University requirements and standards for MBA dissertation supervision including research involving human

comfortability and availability, hence I don’t foresee any risk here, however it also depends on the questions and if
