INTRODUCTION
Water Pollution is caused due to contamination of water. It contains harmful toxic and
chemicals. However, the report will highlight about the BASF Chemical industry of south Africa
which uses high amount of chemicals and hazardous products which leads to water pollution.
solvents and metals can pollute the rives and affect the natural resources of the environment.
these harmful chemical impose negative impact on the environment.

PART 2
1. Ethics and sustainable practices and their impact on communities
Education is fundamental for developing accountable water use for the chemical industry.
However, efficaciously reducing urban water pollutants starts off evolved by using information
how the company's actions make a contribution to pollutants in sewage and treatment centres.
Further, possibilities stand up in their everyday action which could forbid extra waste from
getting into water drainage.
Furthermore, taking path to repair urban waters from multiplied pollutant discharge is as
easy as communities and stakeholders being aware about the results in their activities (Tengö and
et.al., 2017). Moreover, things like house products, assertion prescribed drugs down the drain, or
maybe recycling unsafe substances may have an effect on how a great deal pollutant discharge
can enter nearby storm drainpipe. However, chemical industries local clean-up, public works,
and environmental health department could have services available to gather risky or non-
degradable substances and merchandise and thus, analysing the various benefits of reusing
rainwater will also help in minimizing waste discharges. Further, Rainwater may be reused to
water the company's landscape and promote accountable water conservation.
Further, the BASF company may also get engage in community projects thus, these can
promote those in the local network to be answerable with sourcing chemicals or merchandise that
are trustworthy or degradable (Dangi and Jamal, 2016). Thus, educating the companies about
installing low flow of water furnishings, converting water conduct, and so on can all assist direct
waste material discharge faraway from sewage and water treatment centres.

Chemical Agricultural manufacturing practices of BASF company measure up as massive
causal agreement for water pollutants. Further, substance are washed off from agricultural
chemical lands into lakes, rivers, and oceans inflicting soil orientation. Further, company can
make use of erosion and sediment manage techniques to restrict run-off trends and maintain back
the soils in their industries (Bosselmann, 2016). However, green agricultural exercise techniques
like crop rotation, protective covering, planting repeated vegetation, contour ploughing, and
putting in silt fences can reduce the consequences.
Moreover, anti-pollutants laws and policies at local and global levels are complete
measures for limiting water pollution. Thus, the BASF company must adopt legal guidelines as
have usually played a superb position to make certain water pollutants levels are kept to the
minimal (Jain, 2016). Moreover, environmental protection regulations such as the easy Water
Acts work to make certain that anti-pollution laws are affected and follow to all tremendous
waters including floor water.
2) Stakeholder analysis
Stakeholder is the person, which can be individual, or may in group or an organisation
who are affecting the work of the organisation, their working structure to achieve a common
goal. Thus, stakeholders can be any may be owners, directors, suppliers, government, employees
and unions (Crane and Matten, 2016). They have the full rights to know the management of the
company and their working structure and how they use various technique to achieve goals. As
through stakeholder, the role of company are enhancing and also they earn profits by satisfying
them at large scale. For every organisation they have to play an important role to satisfy their
stakeholder and also it's the duty of the stakeholder to acted in an honest and loyal manner (Jain,
2016). Thus, in the case related to water pollution they all affect the environment also they have
to closely examine the working of the companies to examine the factors which affecting the
environment through water.
It also determines that the approaches of Stakeholder Management Techniques also
conflict due to having a close relationship with the key stakeholders of the company (Stakeholder
Management Strategies, 2019).
