Executive Summery
GCM (Global Cure Mart) is a successful organization and the existing system
management tools such as monit, Icinga, cacti and openNMS covers all the
facets of GCM IT administration. GCM needs to change their network monitoring
system for growth in the market. In this report, the existing network monitoring
tools are being compared and contrasted and this report suggests three of the
best network monitoring tools for GCM. This report concludes that as the
suggested tools have many benefits and advantages over the existing tools,
GCM should change their network monitoring system. This change will solve their
problems they are facing with the existing network monitoring systems.

Introduction
Server management entails the duties of the system administration. Server
management includes the service monitoring, optimization, regular service
maintenance, and security and server setup tasks. GCM (Global Cure Mart) is a
successful organization and the existing system management tools such as
monit, Icinga, cacti and openNMS covers all the facets of GCM IT administration.
System management is the main concern that GCM faces in the operation. GCM
is planning to implement the emerging tools for manage and supporting the daily
operation. This report aims to discuss about the existing server system
management tools in the various services. This report compares and contrasts
the existing tools and the emerging system management tools that can be used
for better server system management.
