and implement it in a better way. A flexible work environment along with
easy going attitude can be used to implement innovation in the work
environment. Encouraging diversity is also a very good process to apply
innovation.

organisation changes as there will be instances of reduction of the overall
variance of the returns of the company to its portfolio.
c) With the introduction of innovation in organisation the broader
environmental context is changed and improved with the introduction of
sustainable development in the organisation.

Answer:

aspect they are working on.
2. Mastering the skills is distinctive: Every people must possess the ability to
have the need of growing and achieving their desired target (Le Bas, Mothe
and Nguyen-Thi 2015).
3. Having a sense of purpose: Going beyond the own personal interest is one
of the main reason innovation is created.

Answer:

1. Employment laws which prevent employee discrimination: With the help of
this law the employees of the workplace are forbidden from discriminating
against other employees of the workplace. With the implementation of this
law a safe place is created in an organisation.
2. Employment laws for minimum wage: During the time of depression the
employees are paid a much less salary than usual which was not ample to
support them let alone their family. So this law makes sure that each and
every employees are paid adequately.
3. Laws incorporating the health and safety of the employees: Unsafe
working condition, old machines, noise in the workplace are controlled by the
help of this law and it also ensures that the various health and safety of the
people working in the workplace are maintained.

Answer:
a) Leadership traits:
Innovative leadership will require high risk tolerance.
The leader must be having a great knowledge about technology and
must be a domain expert.
An innovative leader must be open to the various new ideas which has
been presented to them which will be in turn creating an innovative
workplace environment (Oeij and Vaas 2016).
The leader must not be susceptible to low anxieties and any small

mishap in the workplace must not bother that person.
The emotions of the leader must always be under control under any
kind of given circumstances.
b) Leadership traits hindering innovation:
The leader must not be neglecting any ideas in any kind of unconscious
state.
Overprotectiveness towards original ideas and not sharing them with
the team hinders the flow of innovation in a workplace.
Overconfidence of a leader and giving importance on ego also hampers
innovation.

a) By the help of rewarding the employees in the workplace for celebrating
innovation they will be motivated to work towards innovation.
b) Coaching the team by the leader in a specific way will be giving the
employees the idea and confidence for working towards innovation (Oeij, Rus
and Pot 2017).
c) Learning towards innovation will be helping the employees to understand it
and with modelling behaviour they will know how to implement innovation.

d) The physical environment of the workplace plays a good role in the
implementation innovation since it will be creating a safe environment.
