Phases of Steve Jobs’ working career:
He faced many types of challenges in the lifespan phase, when he was born he was
taken up by the parents who not only one day go to the college but, the biotic mother puts on
a condition that they are obliged to fulfil graduation of child. He lefts college because, he
doesn’t get the means of money which is paid in the form of fees in which more or less wages
of the family is expended on the education instead on meals and besides this, he does not
have any knowledge about in what manner college supports in making the life better.
But, at the time he was in the college he takes regular classes of calligraphy writing
which thereby, helps in developing the Mac computer. And then afterward, he established
Apple Company which earns huge turnover because of its products (Steve Jobs Biography,
2019).
He is terminated from its company when he was 30 years old however, he still never
loses its expectation and accept it as a actuality and work towards his upcoming and develop
two more firms on its own that is NeXT and Pixar which is becoming popular and once again
he came over to Apple enterprise when NeXT company is taken over by Apple.
He has a good perspective towards his life and serves as a motivation factor to
everyone since he works according to philosophy that by assuming it as a last day of
existence of life thus, keeps on working. At the last stages of his life, he faced many kinds of
diseases such as cancer in pancreas and also cell removal challenge happened then again he is
not affected by it.
Schein's career anchor in relation to Steve:
It is defined in the phycology subject of practice. Career anchor is the mixture of
various areas such as relating to competence, motive, and values regarding the work selection
procedure. It serves as a motivating as well as driving factor (Weber & Ladkin, 2011). It
helps to identify preferences which exist in the individual.
In the first phase of the life of Steve, connected with the dots, security factor is seen
because it is a primary which needs to be done when proper food is given when money is left
for buying meals. It has been seen in the scenario when he used to collect empty bottles of
coke so to buy a diet in a week.
