Interpretations
Scatter diagram is that statistical method which helps in determining a specific trend used
in the forecasting (DeMeester, 2016). It is that tool used in forming relationship between two
variables of the analysis as it is based on the Cartesian coordinate’s method. It has different
names such as scatter plot, graph, chart and diagram whose major aim is to create positive or
negative relationship among the variable in order to fulfill the main aim of the research. In the
above analysis, four products are analyzed in the four years which determines the overall

Interpretations
The current technique of the capital budgeting emphasizes on the profitability of the
projects taken into consideration by an entity for its future purpose (Chell, Spence, Perrini and
Harris, 2016). This approach used by the firm uses the concept of the time value of money in
which existing resources applied by an entity in the projects are assessed on the discounting rate.
This rate will be helpful in generating higher returns to be generated by an entity in the future.
The higher amount of profitability generated from a particular project will be selected for the
future purpose and rest will be rejected. The profit generated from the projects is selected in
relation to the initial investment applied. In the given case scenario, Project A will be selected as
it has produces higher NPV than compare with other project.

Interpretations
The accuracy of the project will be assessed while applying this particular technique of
the capital budgeting by the business. It is that technique which h produces that rate which
equalizes the initial investment applied in the project and the cash flows generated by the project
simultaneously. This rate can be also called as beak even point when the business owner will get
the amount applied by them in the investment in a project. The rate higher than the cost of capital
determined by an entity as higher the rate will increases the chances of earning higher amount of
revenue in a particular year (DeMeester, 2016). In the current case, both the rates are higher than
the internal cost of capital as the cost of capital rate is 10%. From the best, the most appropriate
project to be considered by an entity is Project a as it has generated 23% rate of return.
From the above analysis of two of the projects the unanimous decisions are in the favor
of project which suggests an individual in order to select project A as this will fulfills the
objectives of the owner which deals in offering equipments related to the kitchen.
