Exposure to environmental pollution has remain one of the major sources towards health risk
throughout the entire globe. This essay will critically analyse the concept of common good
which includes step towards the benefit and the interest of the entire globe by means of collective
action as well as active participation. This study highlights the importance of combating
environmental pollution which have a direct effect over the health conditions of the globe.
However these health race are generally higher in the developing countries in which lack of
investment in modern technology followed by poverty as well as weak legislation of the
environment combines together to cause high levels of pollution (Zhang and Smith, 2003).
Association on the connection among environmental pollution and the global health outcomes
are complex and often are poorly characterized.
Environmental pollution includes contamination of water, air and soil by the activity of human
targeting as one of the largest cause of several disease as well as death in countries which are
mostly low and middle-income (Mokdad et al., 2016). According to the reports by World health
organisation more than 8.9 million people die every year due to the disease caused by
environmental pollution.
In most of the developing countries the predominant formation of the pollution with
contaminated drinking water and polluted air are contributing to the causes of diarrhoea and
pneumonia. Further more toxic chemicals, ambient air pollution, hazardous waste and pesticides
are some of the predominant hazards of environment within the globe (Zhang et al., 2017).
Regarding the health can text these are majorly linked to non communicable diseases like
neurodevelopment disorder, asthma and birth defects among children, as well as stroke and
cancer among adults.
