In this nurse has well strategic insight, learning agility that provides a good knowledge of every action which is taking place for care improvement. Problems related to care and treatment has to be focused for that nursing leaders can take feedbacks from visitors and patients so that it gives idea of development(Cusack and et. al., 2016). This model is useful for nursing leaders like mangers to recognise staff who has to be encouraged in order to take on the leadership responsibilities. Nursing leader has to try to improve communication in staff so that they can explain patient in easy language. According to contingency or situational theories there are some approaches which helps to leaders to lead any decision on bases of situation. As the name of this theory implies that nursing leadership depends on every person situation and every style of leadership is important. Good leader can adopt own leadership to objectives or goals to complete. In this case goals are like understanding needs of particular patient and motives which lead to implement condition. As being nursing leadership I made sure that every staff has able to understand the specific needs and requirements. Multidisciplinary team always helps to make good decision, in certain cases it can be complex to judge situation in that case multiple opinion of staff can help to take decision(Henry and et. al.,, 2015). After taking every opinion I analysed each of those and this made easy for me to take effective and rapid decision. Another theory is team leadership theory is interesting approach that focus to explain leadership team trends which are growing where no member has great power than the other but rather they work collectively to achieve outcomes and goals. In case of emergency situation various team member can take also take lead to individual nominated to be in charge.
To improve any kind of skill improvement needs willingness to learn and dedication which was good in me that's why after making certain efforts to improve my decision making I was able to improve all the skills which I was lacking and this took two and half months. All the strategies and approaches which is explained above helped to better decision making. This action improved services related to health care and this was beneficial for every patient. During this journey I have learnt a lot of things which helped me to improve quality which a leader should acquire. Implementation for the particular action I read different of books and journals about leadership and skills which every leader should have to provide better guidance and instruction. Interacting with different professionals and organization helped to understand importance of multi-disciplinary team. Along with decision making I could able to better my communication skills and how it differs from person in order to provide a good quality of treatment so that they can improve their quality of life. It made me more adaptable to situations as in healthcare critical conditions can be seen when any care professional is dealing with particular patient. Solving problem more effectively is essential to improve all care.I was able to solve problems with given time and this had positive impact on leadership quality. Improvement of decision making increased my organising ability and emotional intelligence. In some situation my team was low and demotivated that was affecting their practice so I arranged some training for the staff which taught them how they can learn practice innovatively and encouraging them helped all the time to improve their quality of care. Any kind of skill if it needs improvement person has to face critical situation that can be favourableorunfavourable.Incaseofnursingpractice,everysituationIfacedduring implementation of my decision making was quite tough for me but I kept motivating myself to accomplish all the goals so that it can give desired results. Great issue I faced was dealing with peoples who were with informal behaviour, in this case I found that people were not comfortable with healthcare so they were not able to make themselves comfortable in that environment to improve that I ensured that staff who is providing care has to be more friendly and theme based rooms can be provided so that they will be free to express their issues. At the end this gave desired results people were able to talk about their problems and this improved the decision making related to treatment within a period of time. This action also helped me to develop emotional support which every patient seek during treatment and care. This task made me realised importance of decision making in appropriate
time. Only making decision is not important it should be right for person so that it can have positive impact on individual's health issues. This journey of improvement taught and improved various other skills which are important to being nursing leader. Willingness to learn plays major role to get knowledge about every little thing because any kind of information can not be neglected in in health care services. As nursing practice is for people so that they can get benefited for their particular health issues. Earlier solving problem was not easy for me but with the experience of learning and improve the solving problem with effective intelligence. As problems can have negative impact on patients as well as organization. People have more trust and faith in health cares regarding treatment and care if professionals hurt them by breaking their trust it can have major impact on health care organizations as well as on whole country. During this I was able to lead a team with more confidence and boldness so that my staff can be always motivated during nursing practice. Being a model for staff can improved the quality of treatment and care for service users. This experience helped me to analyse situation and what can be future impacts, to reduce future impacts effective decision making plays great role for nursing leaders. All the skills of leadership helped me to become a good leader because a good leader always followed. This experience had a great effect on my leadership quality, improved quality of services and made them more effective so that people can get quality of life. CONCLUSION The above assignment is concluded that exploring nursing leadership is very important in order to improve the quality of service for the recipients. According to the Dries and Pepermans Model there are some skills which are required to being a leader such as analytical skills, learning agility, drive and emergent leadership. As per results of Myers-Briggs indicator test nursing leader is lacking with decision making which is very important in order to take right decision. To improve this there are some strategies and approaches which are explained to implement and improve the particular skill and along with that, this experience improved many other skills and nursing leader acquired great experience in order to better decision making. It also improved problem solving problem in the given time.
