This dissertation explores the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that influence human resources performance in healthcare organisations in the UK. It analyses the impact of leadership style, motivation, training, rewards and recognition on employee performance. The study uses a qualitative research method and both primary and secondary sources of information. The findings suggest that rewards and recognition, along with training and development programmes, support higher motivation and boost the passion and enthusiasm of employees, leading to improved human resource performance within a healthcare setting.
