One leadership styles and corresponding leadership theory for personal leadership
effectiveness
Based on my unit readings and my MLQ assessment results that I believe best align with
personal leadership effectiveness, I would like to select the transformational leadership style and
the corresponding transformational theory. I have selected this because I believe it aligns well
with the personal leadership effectiveness. I have selected a transformational leadership style and
theory because it builds trust. This type of leadership initiates trust within the organization
(Hackmann, 2012). I believe in this leadership style and corresponding theory because it
promotes integrity within the organization. It influences the behavior of both employees and
employers in the organization (Padilla, 2015). Based on what I have learned from the presented
MLQ, I have realized that it is only this leadership style that encourages others in the
organization. It involves the motivation of the staff in the organization (Hutchings, 2017). I
believe motivation can be informed of rewards and promotions. Besides, I have learned that this
style of leadership promotes innovation and creativity in the business. It stimulates the level of
intelligent by opening up the minds of the entrepreneurs. I have learned that this leadership style
is the best ineffective personal leadership because it develops and coached peoples regarding the
new and potential ideas in the business. In my opinion, it enables leaders to understand others in
the business or organization.
Communication style for personal communication effectiveness
I would analyze the coaching communication style based on the unit readings and the
results of my MLQ communication style self-assessment. I believe this coaching communication
style best align with personal communication effectiveness. Based on my self-assessment, it has
scored high rank as compared with others in the transformational leadership style. This type of

effective communication, I need to apply this type of communication to make sure that the issues
at the personal level are discussed and solved. Although I think this can be associated with the
general communication to the group, I think talking directly to individual members to know
issues affecting the members of the organization one are leading a personal level.

leadership skills, I can convince my associates regarding the improvement of the potential. The
best thing about the leadership style is that I have already built trust with my associates and

standards because associates have to believe my influential changes and suggest that I make.
This is one leadership style that will promote my growth as a leader in the organization. It

2010). Through sharing with my associates direct and close at a personal level creates a lot of
respect and trust among us. Once the trust and respect are developed between me and the
associates, this would offer me an easy leadership process because we shall all having unit and

performance (Waterhouse, 2017). This is directly associated with the trust and unity created by
the transformational type of leadership (Pemstein, 2019). Once trust between me and an
employee is developed, it will be easy for me to take 100% of the employees’ attention and
maximize their performance to 100%.

Through a transformational type of leadership, it will be an easy task for me to initiate
