Perception of Security Information and Its Effectiveness in Preventing Theft

The study found that the majority of respondents (53%) strongly agreed that security information makes documents more secure, while 33.3% agreed with the statement that adequate security information in passports results in minimal forgery of biometric information. Additionally, 43.3% strongly agreed and 40% agreed that adequate security information plays a role in preventing theft. The study also highlighted the importance of training and skill development for airport staff to improve their performance in handling security drills and ways to handle situations. Furthermore, respondents rated the quality of people and gadgets used in the area as 'very satisfied' or 'satisfied', indicating overall satisfaction with the current security measures.

FINDINGS
Introduction
This section provides some of the main findings of the study based on the
results that were obtained from the quantitative study. The respondents were asked
various kinds of questions with the aim of ensuring that the research objectives were
met. This section provides the findings of the study based on the data that was
analyzed.
Demographic information
The first questions in the questionnaire mainly sought to explore the
demographics of the respondents. Various questions were asked, which sought to

Concerning the level of education of the research participants, it can be noted that

The maximum of the people in the answers were very happy with the utility of the
gadgets used for the e-passport for counter terrorism. However, there was one who
thought more could be done about it.

The knowledge of the utility of the gadgets and to use them was high among the
officers however one suggested that he needed more training and development to
work better. Such has to be taken care by the business and so the needful training
exercise has to be done.
The ability to determine and counter any threats is generally high in the security
apparatus for which it was asked if more training or scope of such is there.

The training was high among many of the officers working but not all were confident
and few recommended that they be trained more for the best outcomes. Hence, the

people who are in the job need more training and development for the best outcome of
the job. The people who decided they need training also gives the scope for the
organization to check the security readiness of all and thus do the program likewise.
For them it would help in developing the needful skills that would help in the business
in the long run. The training of the people in the ways of defense is needed for the
best outcome of the process.
The manpower and the gadgets that they have are not in plenty as are mentioned by
few but mostly the people are happy with the outcomes.

43.3% strongly agreed to the statement, while 40% agreed to the statement.
Hence, the quantitative results show the progress of the activities such that
they may do better in few issues like training, skill development, drills and more skills
for the people involved in the security. The same can be implemented with the
needful drill, which can be pre-planned to see the shortcomings and the ways to
mitigate them. The qualitative research too was done on the same group, which also
fetched some answers. The people working with the Airport had their mind fixed on
the ways that they can work while in distress or the problems that may occur sue to

the lack of training or gadgets. The use of Dogs for the detection of luggage coming,
scanning and x-rays for the detection of luggage while scan and metal detector testing
for the people coming in the area. This keeps the fear of trespassing mitigated by
influencing the people at the door of the entrance.
