About the Article
The analysis of the article shows that there are three major objectives of this article. The
first aim involves in the documentation of preindustrial forest composition before the extensive
logging. The second objective involves in the documentation of the level of change in this from
1925 to 2005. The third objective involves in the identification of the influence of logging as
well as natural disturbances as the major reason for the forest composition at present (Boucher et
al., 2017).
Strengths of the Article
The main strength of this article lies in the critical analysis of the adopted issue. The
above three aims of the article help in providing the results of the research in a synchronized
manner for obtaining better understanding. In addition, the adopted methodology of the research
can be considered as another major strength as it helps the researchers in getting the results of the
research (Boucher et al., 2017).
Weaknesses of the Article
There is not any major weakness of this article. However, the adopted research
methodology can be a little problematic for some of the reader of this article as the adopted
methodology is complex in nature. For this reason, in the absence of effective knowledge in
statistics, users will face trouble to understand the methodology (Boucher et al., 2017).
