INTRODUCTION
Project management is defined to be the type of process that is still being implemented for
the purpose of preparing, implementing, managing and closing any specific project that is
already being carried out by team to accomplish targets and goals within the stated timeframe.
Project management’s key goals must be effectively accomplished through a process that helps
to reduce costs and handle projects by which complex processes (Bondarenko and et.al., 2018).
The purpose of this report is to introduce events at QA Higher Education College to publish
technical building construction to attract more students and contend with college rivals. This
study based on the evaluation of previous project that is based on renovation of collage
classroom and transformed into technical building which provide advance learning experiences
to the students. This report covers several topics such as objectives and benefits of this project. In
addition, also identify the changes which required making under the process of performing
project and the identified risk.
MAIN BODY
1. Objective of project and indicates that if they were achieved or not
In relation to QA Higher Education College, one of the main objectives of this project is to
renovate their class rooms and introducing technological construction building (Chawla and
et.al., 2018). Another objective is to maximise number of admission in the next academic session
through providing more facility to the students in comparison to their rivalry universities.
One of the main objectives of introducing this college event is to complete their project
into estimated budget within time period so they can conduct event successfully. As per the
evaluation of this project, all the objectives were achieved but project manager also has to face
several challenges to complete this project on time or within budget.
2. Outline the benefits of this project which achieved and also ensure that these were expectable
or not
Technological construction of QA Higher Education College building provide several
benefits to the students which helps in improving their learning experience and allow them to
learn by using advance learning platform (Kerzner, 2018). This project provide the smart
classroom facilities to the students and access of internet to study online or able to study on
online platform which provide better understanding.

Integrated with the technical platform, smart classes unlock the gates for the large area of
digital course materials. It will maximize the full value of online education and learning
materials. That way, the learning is not limited with the book. Another essential feature of
technology based learning would be that it allows synchronizing all the lecture notes to each
gadget. Only import their research materials into their devices. It could save both time and
energy. Internet based classrooms also helps bind teachers and students 24 * 7, allowing it easy
for students to discuss about their concerns and to explain them whatever the time.
Smart classrooms use smart tools for teaching and learning process, as discussed earlier.
Use of personal computer for each students and mobile devices in learning temporarily or
permanently removes handwritten notes (Brewer and Dittman, 2018). The limited use of paper
makes learning Eco-friendly contributing to a conventional school-possessed remedy for natural
hazards. Smart classrooms use graphics to teach. Often students may also use new technology
such as Virtual Reality to communicate with graphics. Visual based learning model finds a
successful way than conventional method of learning. Learners can freely practice in this
manner. Even allow smart classrooms to reduce disruptions and encourage kids active in the
learning experience.
Events are needed to enhance technology built with event building, which has a beneficial
impact on marketplace admissions via an image institution. It will identify programs that will
contribute to the recruitment of different numbers of students and the provision of sustainability.
This sort of case, which is significant for QA Higher Education College, will also improve and
similarities can be accomplished with spending grew donation on the market, making it possible
to flow smoothly with activities.
3. Evaluate that project was performed under scope or not
Project were completed within its scope such as time period for the entire project was
completed in 209 days which were started from 30th of July 2020 and it was ended on 18th of
May 2021 (LARSON and GRAY, 2018). Initiation phase was taking 22 days, planning stage was
taking 40 days and further execution phase divided into three stages and all were taking 105 days
to complete this process. Controlling phase of this project was taking 32 days and closer was 10
days.
Total budget of QA Higher Education College technical construction was £50,000 which
helps the project managers or team members to perform their task under giving amount for each

activity. Project was completed under its scope that was a good achievement for the QA Higher
Education College because most of the time it happens that time period and overall budget for
the project can be exceed but this project accomplished within estimated amount.
4. Explain the changes that were made in the run up to the completion of the project
While performing this project, there are several challenges faced by the project managers
which became barrier for the QA Higher Education College to successfully complete their event
promotion regarding technology based building which helps in maximising overall admission in
comparison to their rivalry universities. There are several changes which are required to
implement in existing project and these changes affect the original plan of QA Higher Education
College. Some of the changes are explained below which made in original plan:
No accountability: According to the plan, the responsibility which has to be set inside the
group is very significant. It is liable for activities that take place in the course of the project
which contribute to making continuity over task responsibility and increases productivity in
achieving desired project targets too. So project managers need to be accountable and other staff
members as well otherwise it affect the entire project or become the reason of failure.
Ineffectual communication that could cause conflict: Project managers are using strong
communication methods. So that information could be shared and successfully has to happen that
allows in the desired manner in achieving the objectives (Lee and et.al., 2018). If communication
breaks down it can lead to disagreements and clashes over the increase of instability among
group members. Poor communication affects the entire project because it will leads to the
confusion among the people which reduces overall efficiency of project team members.
Managers need to improve their communication process and implement these changes as soon as
it possible.
Decision-making difficulties: When managing a project, it can impact the capacity to
reason that can cause conflict between teammates. Thus it is crucial that group members be also
focused on taking judgements so that everyone’s thoughts and opinions that can support make
the right decisions alongside improving innovation mostly during development of the project.
Initially project managers need to resolve conflict among the members because it further affects
the project and managers unable to make effective decisions which cause poor performance and
failure of this project.

Resource conflicts: Lack of availability of resource is required to resolve because
resources should be available to complete project efficiently. This will be influenced by
completing project. Project delay and productivity between team members should also be figured
out. This is all achieved to be using the mission allocated to them in productivity over
completion. This leads to increasing conflicts between members of the team. These changes
required otherwise it affect the entire project where managers unable to performed their task due
to lack of resources.
Misalignment of plans and business goals: This is yet another problem that can be
resolved throughout project implementation, since project goals can vary from the business
goals. It is important that the tasks are initiated with the aim of achievement of organizational
goals so that staff members can be encouraged to achieve project goals in a timely manner and in
an effective way.
Above discuss challenges affect the project performances, so project managers need to
implement such changes in their original plan to get success of this project. During the plan, QA
Higher Education College adopted such changes and ensure that it will implemented as per the
strategy which further leads to get success and able to achieve their project goals & objectives.
5. Summarise the lessons learnt during the project and recommendations something for future
projects
During the process of completing this event project, that is organized by the QA Higher
Education College through developing their teaching building into technological construction
(Lock, 2020). As a project manager of this promotional event, I was learned various lesions and
one of them is about team work because working in a group is very difficult and managing
everybody at same time to perform their task or achieve common goals. I also learned that, in the
success of any project communication plays crucial role because without it, team members
unable to perform well or get the idea what exactly they have to do.
Effective or excellence communication should required for the success of any project but
as a project manager I have to ensure that every team member coordinate with each other’s by
proper use of communication because it helps in reducing conflicts among team mates. Problem
solving skills is essential for me because it helps in resolving disputes among staff members and
before initiating any task or project, employee’s training should be necessary because without
initial training regarding the task can affect overall performance.

I need to develop several skills in me, so I can perform well or manage entire team
effectively which directly impact of the success of project. Team engagement is also beneficial
because it help team members to know about each others. Make everyone comfortable to work
with them and understand each other (Owusu, Chan and Shan, 2019). In addition, continues
meeting of project members helps them to stick on project goal and they share common objective
which allow them to perform accordingly. There are some recommendations which can be used
in future projects and minimise the risk of project failure. These suggestions are as follow:
 Project manager need to select team members as per the requirement of project.
 Initial training is essential to make staff members conformable with the task or what they
need to perform.
 Manager should ensure that, flow of communication regularly maintained which helps in
reducing confusion in the entire project process.
 Employee’s engagement required maintaining certain relation with each other and it also
helps in minimising conflict among staff members.
 Project managers also ensure that every member of the project should be accountable for
their actions and be responsible as well.
 All the members of project need to be share common objectives and for this, project
manager need to conduct regular meeting and have conversation with them frequently.
Above given recommendations helps the project manager to perform well in future projects
and ensure that they will implement all the changes during the original plan. With the help of
taking these suggestions, managers can improve their overall performance which helps in
archiving entire project gals & objectives.
6. Identified risk in the project and ensure that these were unavoidable or unpredictable
There are several risks which identified during the process of project completion and project
managers identified these risks which were unavoidable but yes it was predictable (Bjorvatn and
Wald, 2018). It is obvious that, whenever any project begins organization face several risk so
managers need to formulate such strategies to mitigate the risk or able to achieve their project
goals & objectives.
Technological construction of QA Higher Education College predicted various risk such as
financial, technical, budgeting related or team members etc. Financial risk associated with
scheduling the timing of the event and it is achieved in order to make essential information to the

university. There is a need to modify their actions and services to coordinate the planned event.
QA Higher Education College is expected to minimize this risk by agreeing on complying with
the requirements that is essential for the expenditure to begin the task. Time scale risk is to
determine the time and duration that management team takes into consideration in order to
implement and plan events with operations (Galli, 2018). The whole risk is mitigated by working
with QA Higher Education College risk management to make coherent implementation plans
work properly.
Unrealistic cost estimate expected with expense which has to be addressed on project with
respect to its different facets. In ability to engage with this risk, the management team of QA
Higher Education College needs to include training courses. If the work can be completed in a
meaningful way, by addressing future adjustments requires. Another threat is the inefficiency of
the project team members as the efficiency of trained staff and productive personnel helps
in achieving organizational objectives. As QA Higher Education College's new initiative would
be to become a technology based learning university, and as a result no availability of a
professional team is among the influential risks associated with projects. This has been mitigated
by coping with risk where QA Higher Education College has been tracking output which is being
controlled in a position to address adequately the prevalent request.
Most of the time QA Higher Education College was faces technical risk. Since the project is
largely technology-dependent, they will face issues in making use of it (Martens and Carvalho,
2016). Management could only be achieved in this form of risk by arranging and holding
prepared by an emphasis on them. It also needs frequent inspection and replacement without
having lost attention.
Above discussed all the risk was predicted and these are also unavoidable because with the
help of risk management strategies project managers able to mitigate the risk but they need to
follow the process effectively. Project managers need to provide effective training to maximise
their efficiency and regular monitoring helps in reducing technical risk. By using risk
management plan, project manager of QA Higher Education College were mitigate every risk.
CONCLUSION
On the basis of above project evaluation, it has been concluded that project management is
very essential for the organization to complete their task to project within given time period or
budget for effective outcomes or maximise the overall efficiency. It has been analysed that

evaluation of project is essential because it further provide the overall idea regarding their
current performance and further helps in improving future project through making certain
changes that allow o mitigate the possible risks. In addition, there are several changes required
because it helps in improving overall performance as well as efficiency.
