INTRODUCTION
The sector of FMCG is a wider and broader in market and is becoming important for
every customer. Food service management is defined as process of oversight of food selection,
presentation, preservation (Balaji, 2016). It is longer procedure which requires deep level of
knowledge & skills to carry out the process. Hard Rock Cafe, which is largest and chain of
theme restaurant headquartered in U.S. The restaurant is located globally with its number
subsidiaries which are Hard Rock Cafe( Germany ) GMBH, Hard Rock Edinburgh (London) and
many more. This report comprises of food supply chain approaches & stakeholders, procurement
& sourcing processes, application for different analytical tool, management practices, ethical
practices, management practices & performance review technique and recommendations.

explain stakeholders within a process
In this competitive, business sector is becoming wider & broader giving rise to many
other new firms. The business field of food & catering is booming up globally & this enhances
the food service industry. One basic factor which is accepted by this industry is that people or
customers have flexible & heterogeneous taste as well as preferences according to which food
service is carried out (Tian, 2017). So, to maintain change of demand & supply decisions making
process within management is done in effective way. Main purpose of this food supply industry
is to deliver and provide quality of food meal to individual, society & community. So, foods are
prepared by them under high quality standards or set benchmarks so that level of quality is
maintained. IN relation with Hard Rock Cafe, it is theme restaurant which provides ample
numbers & different types of meals, foods, dishes to end users. The varieties of food service is
described further-
Themed food service- It is food service which is changes its design according to theme
of occasion. It is service which assist in attracting customers for visiting restaurant. It
depend upon restaurant to change their theme according to occasions, taste or preference
of customers.
Casual dining- It is another form of food service in which table service is being provided
by restaurant itself. This casual dining makes convenient for customers to sit & enjoy

their meals. In relevance with selected restaurant, as they provide this service it become
easy for them to have more customers. It is most used and beneficial one which enhance
customers satisfaction level.
Pop Up Service- It is another service which is carried out by HRF in which it is kind of
service which allows VIP, guests, special persons to opt for a new foods, meal drinks.
BY providing such services, enhance morale of customers as they treated important. IN
relevance with selected cafe, they too use this pop up service which improve their
profitability of restaurant.
Range of food supply chain approaches
Food supply chain approaches are those which are used during distribution of foods &
meals to customers. With help of these methods, it is easy to make available appropriate meals
to their potential end users.
Outsourced supply chain- It is another supply chain approach which is used by HRC .
It is method in which value is being created or developed to retain customers for longer
period of time. In this, those commodities are supplied which creates or add value to
meal. In relation with selected restaurant, by adapting It they are able to enhance their
goodwill in market (Mao, 2018).
Direct supply chain- In this approach, entity collects necessary materials directly from
farmers. This direct supply chain consists of customers, vendors & entity who are
involved in flow of products at all aspects. By using of this, Hard Rock Cafe is able to
save costs of business.
Key stakeholders in process of food supply chain
Stakeholders are defined as those who have interest in entity with different purpose.
Food supply chain is defined as how process of preparation of food is converted into final goods
& is served to customers. Both these are essential part of food service industry which are needed
to be carried out properly. So, food supply chain of chosen restaurant & stakeholders involved in
process are explained below-
Consumers- These are most crucial stakeholders who have high interest in company as
they demand high quality of services as hey provide money to service providers. So,
they wish for higher satisfaction level. In reference with selected cafe, these
stakeholders are able to receive high satisfaction.
