In the past so many years plenty of criminologists have conduct specific research to
determine the criminology that has assist society to identify the crime and criminals. In fact, I
have examine that crime has been existent from early days well before its origin, however the
punishment deliver to the individual are also changes over the last couple of years. It was mainly
down to working with a group of people that I don’t know various factors that could have
negative implication of the society. Instead of various challenges I thought the experience I gain
from this tend to enhance my career in the future. I was able to use various theories I had learnt
as well as apply them to a particular areas. I have examined that the commission of crime can be
punishable by imposing certain amount of fine or penalty. I took a little time, but I cannot finally
decide on the crime I was going to select. The case I have picked was related to criminology
Evil Jaimmy Savile. I was able to analysed that Savile has committed sexual abuse against
hundred of individual all through his 50 yrs career, all the alleged victims are ranging from
prepubescent girls as well as boys to young. In 11th October 2012, allegation has been charged to
thirteen British policy services that has led to setting-up of inquires into the practices at the BBC
as well as National health services (NHS). I have also examined that the UK Metropolitan police
has started a formal criminal investigation on Savile and other individuals.
According to the BBC report, the allegation tends to cover a long period of 50 years that
consists of 214 alleged acts by Savile. This particular criminal offense has providing me a great
opportunity to know specific information regarding the implication of crime. After I decided to
go with this particular case, I then look on the internet for further information and fact about the
Savile investigation. The main website I have taken into account is the BBC News and NHS
official as it was reliable and we were able to navigate the site in the seminar. However,
determining a crime incident was quite straight forward to do as the information on the website
were up to date and were effectively simple to recognize. In order to get more information I have
then decided to use certain criminological theories that can further assist me to identify the
specific facts regarding the crime. The first theory I have used is psychological theory of crime,
as it say that criminal behaviour is an outcome of an individual difference in thinking process. In
fact, there are plenty of aspects that are associated with the person thoughts as well as feelings
that would indicate their specific actions. I have examined that such problems in thinking will
lead to a criminal behaviour of a people. In case of Savile, I think this particular theory is
