Answer to the question no 1
The summary of house prices in Kingfisherbay has been shown in the table 1. It has
been seen that the mean of the house price is $886.575(in thousand). The median of the house
price is $852 (per thousand). Similarly the mode of the house price is $811(in thousand). The
standard deviation of the house price is $324.95 (per thousand). It has been seen that the
mean of the house price is larger than the median. Hence the house price is positively
skeweed. The skewness of the house price is $0.43 (per thousand). The minimum and
maximum house prices is $192 (per thousand) and $1761 (per thousand).
The media articles focuses the median house prices not the mean, because the median
gives the mid value of the house prices. It is also sure that the average is the average always
has been shown by mean. There are some cases which focuses the average of the average is
the median. It is also noticeable that in some of the cases the median and mean are same. In
this study the media article focuses the median house price, median house price is the best
result in case of house price.
Answer to the question no 2
To test if there is any differences in the house prices between the suburbs, the
following hypothesis test has been applied.
Null hypothesis (H0): There is no differences in the house prices between the suburbs.
Alternative hypothesis (H1): There is a differences in the house prices between the suburbs.

Alpha = 0.05 (at 5% significance level)

Conclusion:
The result of this hypothesis test shows that the P value is lesser than the alpha at 5%
significance level. Thus the null hypothesis may be significant. Therefore it may be
concluded at 5% significance level that there is a differences in the house prices between the
suburbs.
Answer to the question no 3
There are 4 conditions of house has been seen in the Kingfisherbay. It has been seen
that the number of very poor houses is 15, the number of poor houses is 40, the number of
good houses is 42 and the number of excellent house is 23. The mean condition of the house
is 2.60 and the median is 3. The standard error of this data set is 0.08. The variability of the
condition of house is 0.878. Similarly the standard the standard deviation is 0.93. The range
that is the difference between the maximum and the minimum value is also define. It has
been seen that there are 120 observations has been taken in the condition of house. That
means there is no missing observation in this data set. The figure (1) shows the histogram of
condition of houses. In this histogram the X axis shows the condition of the house and the Y
axis sows the frequency. It has been seen that the condition of the houses is symmetric. The
data set of condition of house is normally distributed among all the condition of houses. The
highest frequency has been occupied by the good condition of houses and the lowest
frequency of houses has been taken in the very poor condition of houses. The number of
