INTRODUCTION
Google Inc is seen as the largest and leading American search engine organization that is
been founded in the year 1998 by the Sergey Brin and Larry Page, is stated as the subsidiary of
its holding company named as Alphabet Inc. Greater than 70% of the global online search are
been handled by the Google, by placing it at heart of an internet users experience. The company
specializes in the services relating to internet and the products that involves online advertising,
cloud computing, search engine etc. It is been considered as one of the biggest technological
company along with the companies such as Apple, Facebook and Amazon.
Information system
It is been defined as the set of component in collecting, storing, processing and
distributing an information including the software and the hardware, system users and data itself.
The business organization makes use of the information system for solving the problems that is
faced by the company in achievement of the goals and the objectives (Rahayu and Day, 2017).
Information system plays an important role in processing data from an enterprise inputs for
generating an information that seems to be useful in managing the operations. In order to
increase an effectiveness of an information system, an entity need to add more and more data for
making an information in an accurate manner or using such information in new manner.
Information system of Google
Google promotes for creativity and the innovation among their employees and also
encourages its employees in coming up with the new ideas for dedicating 20% of time on their
projects. Google had given full flexibility to its employees in choosing from the several
computers and the operating systems in order to work on it and also makes sure that an
employees could gain an access to the information in relation to the proposals that are been
undertaken by firms at different locations through intranet (Laudon and Traver, 2016).
Furthermore, for developing a required IT infrastructure, IT department maintains balance in
between buying products from the outside vendors and in developing their own software . For
example- Google purchases Oracle's software in maintaining their accounts while when it come
up to managing the CRM, google opted for developing its own certified software. Though the
data is availed to all the employees but it also ensures protection against the data from being
misused or is used by an unauthenticated users. Google also developed many common
applications like Google apps that could be used for internal as well as for external purposes. The

company followed Round Robin Policy that helps in loading balancing on the servers where each
of server is been assigned with a particular function.
E-business
It indicates the conduct of the business processes on the online platforms. Theses
processes involves buying and the selling of the goods and the services by serving the customers,
processing the payments, collaborating along with other business partners, managing the
production control, sharing an information etc (Mahajan, 2015). It comprises with the range of
the services and the functions that is from development of an intranet and the extranets to the
provision of an e-services over an internet by the application service providers.
E-business of google
In running to launch of an e-commerce business, Google had taken several steps in
understanding the world. For instance- The company has associated with 2000 workshops that
helped Google in determining the sellers in respect of its e-commerce platforms (Akter and
Wamba, 2016). It has also been partnered with the chambers of business in order to conduct for
their digital programmes.
Also, it has been assessed that more than 15000 sellers are been determined for the e-
business platform of the Google. In preparing as the technical giant, refining the google
shopping, its paid listing advertising services, company had planned for making more of omni-
channel experience for encouraging brick and the mortars retailer for listing it with the Google.
This company had launched its services in US where it had allowed an offline retailers in seeing
towards the goods that are present within their stores for the free and marking on the google
maps. Google plans for launching such feature in other countries as well for the purpose of
increasing number of the sellers on its own platform.
CONCLUSION
By summing up the above report, it has been analysed that information system and e-
business of the Google is considered as strong and wide. The company had introduced many
software and the features in relation the information system and on its e-commerce platform.
