INTRODUCTION
Portfolio is a letter comprises with different segments and aspects that denote
different dimensions associated with the business. This report is based on the case study of
the Amazon Company in regards to its business portfolio. The organisation was established in
the year 1994 by the founder Jeff Bezos. Company is associated with the multiple market
sectors and contain its business operations across the globe. This project will discuss about
the different areas of operations such as role of HR, marketing and finance functions of the
business entity. Financial management is about to manage the financial resources associated
with the business entity. Collaborative working a practice is about to work collaborates to
meet the overall business objectives.

Role of HR in company
Human resources are defined as the HR. This is about to manage the human resources
at the organisation. The role of the HR is to mitigate different human resources related needs
and requirements of the business entity. The role Human Resource play in company is to hire
the potential employees over different designated position role in the Amazon Company. The
responsibilities of the Human Resource are also to conduct potential employee training and
development campaign to mitigate different functional responsibilities (Alshumrani, Munir
and Baird, 2018). The training campaign allows the employees to maximise the skill and
work efficiency. Resource management is another crucial functional area associated with the
human resources in the organisation. The responsibility of the human resources is to mitigate
different requirements of the organisation related to the human resources and also to meet
different needs of employee’s part of the Amazon Company. All these roles make human
resources significant for the Amazon Company success in target market.
Role of marketing within company
Marketing is about to promote the products and services offer by the Amazon
Company in front of the potential customers associated with the respective market. Role of
marketing team is to make research about the market. The role of the department also
involves planning, implementing and controlling the best level of marketing campaign to
