SUMMARY
The reason for choosing VARK questionnaire is to raise the experience of learning and
understanding. As this questionnaire is concerned with providing visual, aural, reading, writing
and kinaesthetic experience to students which helps in raising the experience of students in terms
of better understanding.
As reflection is also included in the portfolio which is being used to provide and reflect
the overall experience of student. As reflection is that part which is concerned with actual and
physical experience of students so this will make the portfolio more informative. Since this is
concerned with individual experience so it helps the reader to analyse and know the actual
situation which is being faced in order to make this portfolio informative.
University guidance and exercises are concerned with the appropriate use of grammar
and connecting words. These exercise helps the learner to have a knowledge of all the
grammatically correct English.
Involvement of note taking through Cornell method will help in raising the level of
learning. This is because as through this method not only the notes are being prepared but
involvement of the steps of Cornell method including reviewing and recalling will make the
learning of concept forever in the mind of learner.
Making of summary from the article is a method by which the learner without wasting
too much time can readily understand the concept of the article. This is useful in raising the level
of understanding and analytical thinking. Since, summary is short version of big data so it can be
said that it is useful for the conversation of big and lengthy data into readable and easy form.
The Harvard referencing is one of the most authentic and widely used form of references.
So using of this form of referencing in the article and the portfolio will help in raising the
authenticity and validity of the report.
Mind mapping is an art by which the central and main information will be linked with the
associated and related informations. As under mind mapping the main idea is being placed and
its relation will be established with other concerned topics so it helps in making clarity of
thoughts regarding the central and its associated ideas.
Using of referencing in the report and the portfolio is very important because it makes the
report authentic and valid. Since, occurrence of plagiarism is very serious in the report along
with its severe accusation. So in order to make the report free from plagiarism and accusation

along with making the writing valid with the support of some researcher's ideas, referencing is
used.
Using of capital letter in the text and article is very important because it helps to know
the actual beginning of sentences along with enabling the main subject and important name in
text. Also, capital letter make the writing more readable and understandable because through this
writer will be able to make its article and report more presentable.
Critical thinking is that technique that helps the reader to have a look towards every
possible aspect of the topic. This means that through critical writing the level and information of
the literature and the report is being enhanced. Since positive as well as negative aspect both are
being discussed and used so the level of learning is being enhanced.
Presentation skill refers to that skills which is being used to present something among the
audience. Learning of this skill will help the presenter to interpret and communicate its thoughts
and ideas in a more under-stable way.
Likewise, the reading skill is also helpful and important element that guides the
individual to read and present its ideas. It helps the learner to understand the topic. Improving
reading habit is very important because it is the base of everything including writing.
