INTRODUCTION A person highly need to improve various skills in their daily life for own personal and professional development. There are communication skills, decision-making skills, problem- solving skills etc. are some major skill which a person has required to highly improve. Otherwise, that person can’t achieve success in its life. Currently people takes various innovative ways, methods and theories for improving their different skills or abilities. This portfolio discusses actual value of different abilities in personal and professional development. There are reading log, time management, photo log etc. aspects also have mentioned in this portfolio. At the ending of portfolio, reflection, a productive action plan and final summary of this portfolio has included. MAIN BODY Development of Employability Miniprojectworkshopsarehighlyimportantindevelopmentofemployability. According to my knowledge these workshops has positively affected my personal life, because through these workshops I was able improve or develop my employability attribute. I was got this development opportunity in the UK university. I have taken many project workshops within this university, now I’m able to show my effective employability skills at any place. There are various skills we always need to develop or improve for developing our employability aspect (Ruddy, Thomas-Hemak and Meade, 2016). On the basis of my experience, these workshops are one of best resource to a person for developing its employability. Currently each business or company is giving priority to only those candidates which has effective employability abilities. Sometimes people not get their favourite job due to lack of employability abilities. That’s why these skills or abilities which was learnt in the UK university’s workshops are very important in personal growth. No one can achieve their targets and objectives in decided time period without these abilities. I was putted huge efforts in university to develop my different skills, like; communication, decision-making and problem solving etc. Now my mind-set is that I need to continually improve or develop different abilities to gain positive results in the future.
Effective employability abilities will highly support me in abroad as well, because currently in each place people understands the value of these abilities. In this situation, I believe that, with the support of my effective employability skills I can highly grow myself abroad. After attending different project workshops in UK university, now I’m able to say that I have productive skills. Now I’m full confident because of my extra-ordinary employability abilities (Rubens and et.al., 2018). According to my knowledge, I should use my various abilities in daily operations for more improving them. I’m able to take huge advantages through these abilities in abroad. If I will join abroad university, then I can easily impress existing people I that university by showing them my extra-ordinary employability. Currently existing learners and professors within different university give high value to such people who have specific and productive research skills. In this situation, these skills are also major part of employability. Currently I’m too good in research skills, so I enable to take very high appreciation to my colleagues and professors of abroad university (Panaroni,Yee and Raje, 2017). I’m able to perform well in any place through effective employability skills. I was attended various lectures where I has completed different activities. For example; I has created a task list where I was write different tasks which should complete to improve my exiting performance. I was created a chart where I mentioned my all strengths, because after knowing self-strengths I am capable to take huge advantages from my various strengths. Basically, I conducted SWOT analysis also for knowing my personal strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. I used various technique for keeping stress free myself during different activities. In the one workshop my all colleagues and me come together for group discussion on various selected topic, in which that activity also has positively affected my different skills and competencies. Currently these skills are helping me in making different portfolios. On the other hand, in my one lecture, in was learning about “how to develop employability skills and abilities”. In this situation, these employability skills are currently helping me to play an effective role at any workplace. These all are some major activities which I have covered during previous workshops, lectures etc. Reflection There are Gibb’s reflective cycle has used to reflect on group presentation (Sewell, 2017).
Description I was attended a group presentation, in which that group presentation was learn me many things. For example; on the time, when I was attending that presentation, I has realised that effective body language is too necessary for presenting something in proper manner (Makovec, 2018). There are various skills I still need to more improve, like; conflict management,people management etc. Currently I have different sources which can support me to improve these all skills or abilities. Nowadays many trainers are also available in market which provides some specific training sessions for improving different skills (Bond and Blevins, 2020). In this situation, I’m able to choose this option also for developing various skills. When I have improved my all abilities or skills, then my personality and professionalism will be automatically improved. This photo log includes some photos which has based on different abilities or skills, like; communication skills, management skills etc. Some photos have based on personal and professional development and employability. Feelings Me, colleagues and audience etc. was attended in that presentation hall. and My one colleague has ability to maintain effective and attractive body language while any group presentation, group discussion, group conversation and meeting etc. I have learnt somewhere that; a person always need to maintain an effective body language during giving any presentation at any place. Reason is, with the support to proper body language a person can easily take full attention of all audience. Evaluation In this situation, I have told to that colleague for informing me some productive tricks to develop my body language abilities (Punnooseand et.al., 2016). Finally, colleague helped me for improving my body language. I can fully understand actual value of effective body language. Conclusion I was gained great appreciations from my all colleague in that group presentation because of my polite language and listening abilities (Welch and et.al., 2017). Reason is, I used very polite language in that group presentation while taking to someone. Of course, these abilities are also
too necessary for effectively communicating with other party or person. I was putted very efforts to develop abilities of listing and polite language. On that time, my colleagues asked me that, how you able to talk in polite manner and how you able to stop yourself for carefully listen other person (Johns, 2017). These equations of my colleagues was completely logical, because people always give high priority to speaking, they never give priority to listing. In this situation, I replied that; I readied different articles on communication skills, I watched various productive videos on internet which based on ‘how to improve communication skills’ etc. Action With the support of that presentation, now I’m able to use polite language and listing abilities in any place. Then my colleague appreciated me for my huge efforts which I putted in developing communication skills (Wain, 2017). There is polite language, body language and listing abilities arealsomajorpartofcommunicationabilities.Finally,allaudienceandmycolleague appreciated me for well-performing in that group presentation. Action Plan A productive action plan plays very important role in identifying such resources which are highly required to achieve decided goals in decided time period (Schnellert, Richardson and Ourselves, 2016).Basically, action plan has included some specific ways and method which supports in achieving final objectives. One productive action plan has been mentioned below; Action Plan 1. What is my goals? The goal is to develop and improve personal and professional life. 2. Why is this goal important to me? This goal is very important to me, because I can gain huge success in my life by achieving this goal (Hoand et.al., 2019). I will able to develop my existing living standard by developing my professional and personal life. 3. What, specially, will focus on? I specially focus on developing my personality and professionalism through improving differentskills and abilities,like;communication,time-management,decision-making,problem- solving and people management etc. I will take special training sessions also for aching final goal. 4. How I will know if I am making progress towards my goals?

I can use various tools like; KPI (key performance indicator) and Success indicator etc. These tools are too helpful in analysis of existing performance (Cullingford, 2017). By knowing my existing performance identification, I will able to know things which I still need to improve. These steps will always run me on progressive path. 5. What actions can I take now (short-term goals)? I’m able to use various sources like; books & journals, business magazines, internet blogs, newspaper articles etc. to learn different new things which can contribute in achieving my short-term goals. 6. What actions can I take over a period of time (long-term goals)? For achieving long-term goals, I can take various specific training sessions where a coach, trainer will provide me some productive strategies and techniques to achieve my all long-terms goals in decided time period. 7. Of course, I need to use various different productive resources which will support me for achieving my final goal (Temple Clothier and Matheson, 2019). For example; human (trainer, coach, colleagues), electronic (internet, smart phone, personal computer) and print (books & journals, articles, magazines) etc. SUMMARY It can be summarised that a person need to take various innovate and productive steps toward developing their personal and professional life. According to my experience, there are personal and professional development is too necessary for achieving high success in life. That’ why a person need to take various productive steps for development. In these steps, it can improveitsdifferentskillsandabilities,like;communication,time-management,decision- making, problem-solving and people management etc. There are knowledge of different things also has highly required to develop own personality and professionalism. For example; technical knowledge, business knowledge, science and social science knowledge etc. I know that, no one can develop their all skills, abilities and knowledge in one day. There is a certain time-period has required to develop whole personality and professionalism. Currently many resources are available to a person which can contribute in all over development. For example; books and journals, internet, blogs, articles, newspaper, informative videos, research papers etc. A person need to take advantages from these all resources, because these gives very great opportunity to
develop personal and professional life. For example; currently many personality development (PD) trainers and experts has shared their innovative ideas on “how to develop personal and professional life” in different books & journals, magazines and articles etc. That’s why these all resources are very important in the terms of personal and professional development. Currentlymostpeoplearetryingtodevelopthemselvesbypersonalitywiseand professional wise. They are using different ways, methods and techniques for successfully developing own personality and professionalism. Currently my existing personality is too excellent, because I have almost those all skills and abilities which can make me effective person. On the side, currently I’m I highly professional as well, because I has succeeded in gaining of different things. That’s why these all factors always make me highly professional. Of course I were putted very huge efforts to develop myself. For example; I have made a productive action plan, time management schedule, reading and photo logs, etc. then I reflected on my different actions or steps which I taken in personal and professional development processes.
