Performance in the group presentation AND in the module thus far.
When I started working on the group presentation, I was pretty much confused about my own
contribution that I will be giving as a team member in a group that has given the information in
the presentation about success. In the starting of the group presentation me and my colleagues
have gone through different range of difficulties because of various suggestions given by each
other based on own perceptions. This resulted into rising conflicts among team members because
some of the individuals were not accepting the given suggestions and some of them did.
However, with the help of good communication and proper engagement that has been shown by
me and my colleagues has helped in reaching to the ultimate goal of delivering detailed
information in the group presentation about the chosen topic that is success (Jackson and Wilton,
2016). What I have learnt at the time of developing the group presentation is related to
successfully working as a team. This impacted positively on my own behaviour towards the
different range of suggestions given by my group members. This will help me in near future like
when I will be performing tasks in a professional organisation as a team towards a particular goal
that company is looking forward to achieve, this is where I will be discussing with other
individuals and reach to a conclusion of taking right decision which is beneficial for both
company and employee engagement (DeLuca and Braunstein-Minkove, 2016).
The interesting part that came in front was the introduction section that I have developed in the
representation where I have found that it is must for an individual to prepare an eye-catching
introduction of a group presentation because this helps in grabbing the attention of public with
delivering interesting information and so on. I have considered an interesting definition of
success where I also presented the information in relation with how important it is for a student
to achieve specific goals, which may effectively lead to success (Frankel, Gelman and Pastor,
2018). What exactly went well was the information that was presented by my colleagues and
tutors when I got confused. This could be understood with very good example of a situation
where I was pretty much confused to select the best suitable aspects to build responsibility where
the suggestions were given by tutors like I can take into consideration of both for responsibility
and connection as these are the two to successful elements that may help a student in reaching to
the success level in much effective and efficient manner. What exactly went well was another

skill that actually got improved which is problem solving of my own. There were a range of
situations that came in front where, me and my colleagues exactly started feeling like what can
be the next like if we can put images in the presentation or not (Baumert and et. al., 2017). This
is where I communicated with my team members and gave them information in relation with a
number of suggestions, which was not only resolving the issue of what is required to be done
next but also helped in dropping the idea of putting images in the presentation because content is
something that stays more important then any image.
Including this, the new and formation which was presented in the group presentation was linking
to holistic developments. In present context, me and my colleagues who were developing the
presentation has found that there is a requirement to consider different range of elements like
intellectual development, social development, emotional development and ethical development.
Including this, when I see myself as a student it is much needed for me to successfully apply or
acquire the effective knowledge that I have gained considering promotion off peak performance
and wellness. This impacted positively on my own behaviour because at the initial time when I
just started performing all the different range of tasks in the group presentation, I was
considering autocratic leadership style but then I realised that it is not working and I changed the
leadership style with democratic. This helped me out and listening to others and focusing on
crucial range of suggestions given by them which impacted positively on my own performance
level as well while performing all the tasks (Webb, 2017). I have also gained the knowledge
about student advancement process that not only helps in achieving occupational goals but it also
increase the chances of becoming a much more successful individual in near future. I have found
that communication specifically plays an important role while working as a team in a group
filled with individuals carrying different perceptions.
On the other hand, I did not fully understand why we agreed on the particular perspective of not
applying any sort of image in the presentation because what I think is that putting images in the
presentation can help the whole information to look pretty much good and professional as well
and this is something that I will be focusing in near future (Succi and Canovi, 2020). It is
because reading just the words is not stays that much interesting while giving a presentation and
consideration of useful images can make the whole presentation to look much more interesting
and attractive in nature. From the next time whenever I will get the chance to prepare a

presentation I will effectively consider images in the presentation because this is something that
me grab the attention of readers and listeners.

In terms of academic, I have realised that there are a range of skills that need proper development
in my own because then only I might become able to become a successful individual while
working in an organisation or launching my own business in near future. I have also realised that
I need to work on my communication skills as well in terms of both verbal and nonverbal.
Including this, I also got late while selecting the particular information that was being presented
in the presentation. Therefore, it will be needed for me to improve time management skills as
well because this is something that may help me in performing all the range of tasks to conduct
in rightful manner and in correct time (Mackey and et. al., 2016). Away with this, I have also
found that I am lacking in research skills as well. this could be understood with a good example
of a situation where I was specifically looking among different aspects like I was finding
relevant data on the internet in relation with success of a student. In present context, I found
myself pretty much confused over different online articles like which one is much more useful
that will make the group presentation look much more authentic in nature. Another situation that
I can consider in present context is directly linking with definition of success. I have realised that
there are many definitions that has already been given by many researchers and economists and
based on the context it was necessary for me to select the best and suitable definition (Kanki,
2019). However, I got confused which impacted negatively on my own thinking process and this
is where I found out that I am lacking and Research skill as well which needs proper
improvement or otherwise I will not be able to deliver the best proficiency level of my own to
the company in which I will be performing tasks or to my business as well if I choose to run my
own company.
Away with this, I have also realised that my critical thinking skill is also not that much effective
in nature if it is compared with my team members. This can also be understood with a good
example considering a particular situation where my team members has given two to three
suggestions and I was not been able to deliver one and the reason behind this was that I was only

focusing on the positive aspects but not on the negative ones where suggestions that I give were
considered as a failure if it is thought in a detailed manner (Casey and Pearce, 2018).
My adaptability skill is also considered not be much successful skill, which may impact
negatively on my professional life as I might not become able to manage my work based life. A
few little changes within the group presentation caused anxiety to me and the reason that came in
front was lack of adaptability skill. My nature is to resistance to change, which can be considered
as a problem a drawback for my own to become a successful individual in near future while
launching my own business or working in an multinational company. I have realised that change
is mandatory not only for an individual but for the company as well (Dong and et. al 2017). It is
may be possible that resistance to change the company or me behind which I cannot offered and
this is something that I actually need to change because then only I might become able to run
with the changes that are taking place in today's competitive market.
