INTRODUCTION
Plagiarism refers to representation of some else's work with or without the knowledge
of original author or writer. It is important for the person who is using someone else's
work to provide clear and proper citations in the work. In educational context,
plagiarism is considered to be as academic misconduct and unethical.
Plagiarism and its types
The use of someone else's thoughts, ideas, language, expressions, etc. without
giving proper credit is considered to be as plagiarism.
It can be intentional and unintentional and only intentional plagiarism is subjected
to punishment. Students will always get a chance to explain themselves so that they
do not have a feeling of injustice.
The act of plagiarism definitely includes some mandatory regulations that the
person who is guilty must have to face.
Meaning and concept of academic misconduct
Academic misconduct refers to as an action or work of student which is against the
rules and norms of the institution or educational institution and are eligible for
punishment.
Every institutions have their own set of rules and regulations which are needed to
be followed by each and every student and if actions of any student fails to follow
those rules and regulations then it is said to be academic misconduct.
Instruction to play game:
In order to play this game in a more fun way it is important for the
classroom to get divided into four groups.
Their will be a basket which will be having 12 balls and three balls will
have same color each.
The color of the balls will be green, yellow, blue and white. According
to the color chosen by the team one questions will be asked and each
question will provide 30 marks to they team that provide correct answer.
The questions will be related to the topic of plagiarism and academic
misconduct. In order to win the game it is important for the teams to
make sure that they are providing correct answers to the questions.
In case of tie their will be a bonus question which will serve as a tie
breaker question and will help in deciding the winner of the game.
This bonus question will contain 50 marks which can be very beneficial
for the teams in order to become a winner.
Importance of academic integrity
Academic integrity in the context of university refers to as avoiding any
misconduct, plagiarism or cheating in educational institution. It can be said
the every institutions have their own set of rules and regulations which
every student have to follow and following these rules and regulations is
considered to be as academic integrity. It is directly linked to the ethics that
the student have and are noted in syllabus as well.

CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that plagiarism is a
misconduct and is not to be utilized by any student. It is
eligible for sever punishment and will also considered to
be unethical. It is important for the universities to make
sure that they are not accepting any kind of plagiarism or
misconduct and are developing honesty and integrity in
their students. It is important for the students to know
the importance of academic integrity and will also help
the students in becoming more and more credible.
