3.1 Definition of qualitative methods and quantitative methods
Qualitative research is the most natural approach to research topics to ensure that the most objective and accurate will be opinions,
exploration of viewpoints to find insights into some of the questions. Often, the methods used to gather data from this method are very
diverse and do not follow a specific structure. The approaches used to collect data from qualitative techniques are focus group, near
personal interviews and relevant ones. Qualitative work is ideal to address concerns regarding a process, actions, etc. on "how" and
"why." Typically the selection of this process is small and chosen more carefully. A qualitative method has the advantage that it
gathers information quickly, saves time and saves time and money during research. The strength of qualitative methods is that the
results of the research will be limited in accuracy and reliability; qualitative research transparency is lower than quantitative research.
The quantitative research method of research is to collect information, and to collect market data. Adequate quantitative research in
the study of surveyed people's attitudes,opinions, and behaviours. The objective to use quantitative research methodology is to pass
facts and figures to process evidence and knowledge, and draw conclusions from the market. Quantitative findings would be derived
from one study group. Overall on a bigger sample. Quantitative approaches would provide specific means of obtaining data, such as

etc. The benefit of quantitative methodology is that the findings of the study provide a strong reliability, fast review of the data
obtained. The downside of quantitative approaches is that even the time of analysis would be longer and it will cost more.

Inequality in human development damages society, undermines social cohesion and people's trust in government, institutions and with
others.
Economic inequality is accompanied by discourse on language inequality, and opportunities marginalize the poorest group while
benefits focus on the rich. Inequality is damaging the economy and is unreasonably hampering people.

Equality makes government choices difficult to meet the needs of humanity as a whole and to secure our world, since too few top
people utilize their power. Decisions are in the main to their advantage.
Equality of those who have important family influence. People always think that women still primarily need to do housework; aware
of respecting men and women in the process of childbirth, child rearing, child care and family planning. Additionally, women are
often dealing with other problems such as domestic violence, human trafficking victims, child discrimination and sexual harassment.
Gender equality in the employment field. The proportion of women in labor is still lower than men, which also causes gender
inequalities in labor and has a significant impact on the economy.
Equality of gender in education has a significant effect on the quality of potential human capital, which is of considerable significance
to the growth of the society.
IV. Analysis and finding
4.1 Overview of gender equality in Vietnam
HDI is an average indicator of the fundamental human accomplishments of a country. As with all other averages, the HDI hides
inequality in the national distribution of human development across the population.
HDI of Vietnam in 2018 is 0.669. However, HDI drops to 0.580 when this value is reduced due to inequality, losing 16.3 per cent due
to inequality in the distribution of HDI dimensions. It should be noted that the "loss" rate of Vietnam due to inequality is the second
lowest in the comparative group among countries: the lowest is for China (16.1 per cent). Vietnam's "loss" figure is smaller than the
Philippines (18.2%), Thailand (16.9%), and India (26.3%), respectively. The average damage caused by inequality in the countries of

HDRO launched a new indicator in the 2014 Human Development Report-the Gender Development Index (GDI), focused on sex-
related HDI, which is described as the ratio of female to male HDI. GDI tests gender disparity in achieving three fundamental
measurements of human growth, including: wellbeing (measured by the estimated life expectancy at birth of men and women),

education (measured by the years of schooling required of boys and girls, and the average number of years of education for men and
women aged 25 years, and the ownership of economic capital (measured by GNI per birthday).
For 166 countries the GDI is calculated. The 2018 women's HDI value in Vietnam is 0.693 compared to 0.692 for men, resulting in a
GDI value of 1.003, which puts Vietnam in Group 1 (top of the five). In contrast, Malaysia, China, Indonesia, the Philippines and
Thailand have 7 GDI values of 0.972, 0.961, 0.937, 1.004 and 0.995 respectively. The GDI value of Vietnam also exceeds the average
GDI value of the High Human Development Countries (0.96), the Medium Human Development Countries (0.845), and the East Asia
and Pacific Group. (0.962) I.e. (0.962)

4.2 Gender equality implication
In the field of politics, gender equality, especially in the decision-making and policy making process, has great implications for
promoting gender equality in other areas of social life. Growing women's presence in politics and civil life will increase the influence
of legislation, services, and initiatives, lead to the elimination of corruption, and improve state management efficiency.
One primary criterion for determining a country's gender equality status is the proportion of women participating in economic
activities. Vietnam is one of the countries with a large percentage of women involved in commercial activities. In recent years , the
growth of the socio-economy in general, and the company sector in particular, has rendered a major contribution to women
entrepreneurs.
The Company Survey carried out by the General Statistics Office in 2008 found that the percentage of female businesses was 21%.
Another important point from the General Statistics Office29 is that the bigger the company is, the more female business owners are.
Women accounted for 26 per cent of overall micro-businesses, 17 per cent more than small and medium-sized businesses. This
measure indicates that women experience more difficulties in establishing a company than men do.
Vietnam's labour regulations secure workers' freedoms, freedoms and certain employees' privileges while at the same time defending
employers' rights and valid interests, and providing opportunities for working relationships. Be harmonized and prosperous, contribute

women's parliamentary seats and gender-based secondary and tertiary education; economic development is measured by women's and
men's labor market participation rate. Such studies suggest that the percentage of women who are accepted in society is very low, and

Inequality between men and women has created a lot of confusion as well as contributing to the contemplation to demand fair
opportunities for women in culture that everybody understands. Vietnam has been able to come up with gender parity initiatives,

regulations and conventions, thereby offering a stronger approach to this issue and hopefully eliminating it. This will change the way
in which women view and the stereotype they are unable to participate in political, economic and things that only men can do.
4.4 Discussion
Every investigation paper has various topics. Some are common in that they discuss just one specific problem in the key subject. As
my paper deals with the issue of "Gender Equality in Vietnam," this paper deals also with an overview of the aspects and dimensions
influencing Vietnam as social , cultural , political, personal, and labor. Since the thesis only lasted for two months, this report was also
incomplete, and readers could only grasp and generalize gender equality in Vietnam as they read this analysis. By index by data by
information gathered from various sources. In contrast to my research paper, the research paper "ASSESSMENT OF WOMEN'S
SITUATION IN VIETNAMESE CRIMINAL INDICATOR SYSTEM NAM' by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and
the United Nations on Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment highlights the issues that research needs to address in Vietnam's
criminal guidance system. Implemented by the UNDP in the 21st century After reading this study, inequalities in human growth can
be discussed and examined by looking past wages, average and existing rates. This paper approach places strategies for tackling
inequalities within the structure of capacity development in the wider sense in which economies and policymakers function. We also
see the difference between the two papers and this study, the biggest difference that can be said is time and scale. This research vs
UNDP's article on human development in 2018 also shows the obvious differences in timing, scale and scale. This paper is only on
Vietnam scale and it covers the entire size of the study. Every research has a specific composition, time gap, scale as well as general
topics or it covers a particular subject.
V. Conclusion and recommendation:
People address many challenges in today's world that have major human consequences, such as epidemics, climate change,
economics, or racism, and as is mentioned in research is a gender equality problem. The nation also wants to make progress in

research on a daily basis, as greater engagement in technology is needed to enable citizens around the world to find answers to this
problem in difficult times. Such approaches must be a focus in tackling gender equality, because this is an significant topic for society
as it has been established in articles, laws , guidelines and constitutions,
As a consequence, it can be seen that parity between men and women has also been a focus for the Party and the Government, along
with attempts to promote gender equality, which has brought significant strides and foreign recognition. Nonetheless, there are clear
drawbacks and shortcomings in comparison to the apparent performance. Yet it needs to be reiterated: gender equality, racial equality,
is Vietnam's development target in particular, and the international community in general; and achieving this aim is not a quick and
fast task, but a long process that includes policy involvement and the involvement of the whole population.

Measures to address gender disparities:
- Growing discrimination and a feeling of equality for people and women.
- Minimizing and eventually eliminating all types of violence against women and girls in all sectors and across the globe.
-Significantly eliminates all types of abuse against women and girls in the public or private sector.
-Ensure full, substantive participation and a equal platform for women in leadership at all levels of governance, economic and social
policy
Firstly is to reduce prejudice and raise awareness among people by providing government information and actions to change the way

inequality, not to discriminate against women and girls in all fields and around the world. The next step is to strengthen the legal
process and impose strict penalties for all those that are perpetrating brutality against women and children worldwide, as well as
sexual assault and other types of discrimination against women and girls. The assessment of gender-related legislation and the
implementation of gender-based laws must be undertaken on a systematic, reliable and efficient basis, and must be evaluated in terms
of reality. Organizations, organizations and people must take urgent action to tackle the abuse of women and children, violence and
human trafficking. Solutions will be implemented in a constructive way that should uphold the laws, make public protection a priority.
Develop the regulatory system, modify and replace the statutes that are no longer fit for action. Next, the group needs to teach citizens
about reproduction in order to minimize the amount of abortion, as they prefer to have men, not females, in the countryside they know
so little about the problem that contributes to the birth of other children in the household, so it is necessary to address this topic
because it has a huge effect on gender equity in the family in general and so on.
