Girl’s Intelligence in School1 Why Girls are doing well in Schools than Boys? Better performance in school study always required self-discipline or an integrated approach of students. In order to perform well in school, girls are likely more disciplined compared to boys. Here the self-discipline means paying attention to class study, write down notes on a regular basis, respecting teachers, and paying attention in the class and to the teacher as well. Girls are very good in remembering the content. These factors make a difference between boys and girls in schools and colleges (Gnaulati, 2014). It can be also said, that boys are relatively less self-regulated and self-disciplined than girls, hence, they do not perform well as girls do in the class. It has been also seen and observed that girls are not easily bored with the long task or on tough class-assignments, while the boys easily getting bored and frustrated with study and assignment pressure. According to many surveys and researches, it has been found that girls have inborn characteristics of planning ahead and arranging the things in proper ways. Thus, they can set their academic goals and targets in advance and put their all efforts to achieve these goals. If we compare girls with boys then we can found that boys are less conscientious than girls. Apart from this, the one major thing is more noticeable that boys are performance oriented and they study for only final grades while girls are consistent performers and they are so organised in their plan and schedules (Smith, 2016).
