INTRODUCTION Organisations which runs their business operations in different countries are referredas global companies and the markets they execute in are referred as global business environment. The challenges and the benefits that the company experiences while operating within the global market place are considered under the global business environment. Businesses operating in such environment are impacted by multiple factors which involved the macro as well as the micro factors which the companies are required to take care of. Expanding ones business globally bring s much added advantages along with disadvantages which governs the functioning of the business(Jones, 2019). With the ever rising competition businesses are required to make the brand presence globally for which they are required to thoroughly understand the factors regulating the global business environment. MAIN BODY LO1: Obtain and interpret information relevant to an analysis of a firm's business environment Political: Unilever is required to stick with the rules and regulations formulated by the country they are executing their business operations in. Economical: The economies of the global location of Unilever determines the operations and the feasibility of them. Social: The company is required to analyse the cultural and social factors of the nations they are working in. Technological: With the technological advancements, analysing risk factors along with opportunities have become significantly feasible. Legal: The company is suppose to protect their products from being replicated, for which they require legal support. Environmental: Unilever is knownfor its passions and the vision of sustainability the company holds. 1

LO2: Assess the impact of government on the structure and operation of a business organisation. As being a global company Unilever is required to deal with different governmentsof the nations they are working with, governments are the regulatory bodies which formulated policies for the well being of their nations. For which Unilever before entering any nations market analyse and tries to understand the way the government of the nations treats foreign multinational companies and way they benefits the nations. The governments are the ones who seek for the benefits for their citizens. If the operations have the capabilitiesof creating a destruction or a negative on the citizens the functioning of such companies will not be allowed in the nation. Because of which governments have a major role to play in the operations and the structure of business organisations. LO3: Demonstrate an understanding of the impact of changes in the business environment on business organisation and activity. With the evolving times business have adapted to the frequency of the changes that takes place in an economy. As the companies no more have the monotonous routine of handling business operations, changes are yet not exactly predictable because of which the companies are required to stay flexible. On the basis of the strategies being adopted by the companies the management of changes differs(Khajeheian and Mödinger, 2018). The kind of management and leadership the company is following determines the the impact of changes on the business operations, if the management is not effective the company will not be able to handle the changes that comes along with business opportunities. CONCLUSION This report aimed on providing the overview of the global businesses who are executing their business operations with the global business environment, by taking the example of Unilever the whole analysis has been laid. As change and its managementis a not a piece of cake for any organisation, companies are required to adapt methods which helps business organisations in understanding and managing change effectively and efficiently. internal factors affecting the business operations and the ways organisations take those factors into consideration. 3
