1. Introduction
With the increase in the demand of the fuels and energy, along with the cutting subsides,
diversifying economy, growing investment, it is important to understand the world should
respond to the situation. The link between cheap oil and economic growth being broken, it is
interesting to understand the trend in growth and increasing use of renewable energy resources
(Teske et al. 2012). This would further contribute in stabilizing the oil prices and preservation of
the non-renewable sources of energy. With the advent of solar energy and shale oil, the prices of
the fossil fuels are sure to decrease. The depletion of the non-renewable resources of energy,
such as coal, petroleum and the increase in exploitation of natural resources is a global concern.
Therefore, it is important for different organizations to have a global energy outlook that would
help in the evaluation of the relationship between the organization and the countries (Pleßmann
et al. 2014). The report discusses the relevance of global energy outlook within contemporary
organization. The different energy policy frameworks with respect to the different elements of
energy sources are discussed in the report.
2. Importance of global energy outlook
With the increase in demand of the world energy that is set to rise by 52 percent over the
period of 2010 and 2035, the use of renewable energy resources such as solar energy, wind
energy, hydro and geothermal energy are expected to grow by 7 percent a year. The
organizations that are mainly based on consumption of huge amount of non-renewable energy
resources should have a global energy outlook (Coady et al. 2015). This is a key factor for
evaluation of the relationship between the organization and the countries. The increase in
consumption of the non-renewable resources of a country has an adverse effect on the economic

growth of the country. This is because the huge scale consumption of non-renewable energy
resources either would subject to the fast depletion of the natural reserve or can increase the
import of the fossil fuel from the other countries, which will definitely have a large-scale impact
on the economy of the country (Chu and Majumdar 2012). Oil and natural gas play a pivotal role
in the global energy system. The global energy outlook is important in the contemporary
organization as this organization mainly operates in a large scale. The contemporary
organizations that consume energy resources on a large scale as their part of operation should
definitely have a global energy outlook and consider other sources of energy as a part of their
business in order to preserve the non-renewable resources of energy (Höök, Johansson and
Snowden 2012).
The global energy outlook is expected to bring a lot of change in policy, technology and
economy over the next 20 years and therefore, the contemporary organizations will surely have a
great impact of the changes. The supply of natural energy resources in the world of increasing
abundance would not be possible for non- renewable energy resources, and therefore, the
contemporary organizations consuming a large amount of non-renewable energy resources
should make use of the renewable energy resources as well. Therefore, it can be said that, the
global energy outlook in the contemporary organization is very important in preservation of the
non- renewable energy resources (Kaygusuz 2012).
Most of the countries are concerned with the increase in rise of the fossil fuel usage that
has an adverse effect in the economy of the country. Therefore, if the organizations are proactive
enough to understand the global energy problems it will be beneficial for the country as well.
Therefore, the importance of the contemporary organization with global energy outlook is an
important criterion for evaluation of the relationship between an organization and countries

According to the world energy reports, the use of the renewable energy resources is going to
increase by a considerable amount. The contemporary organization should therefore consider the
use of renewable energy resources as a secondary source of energy in order to contribute to the
economic and environmental condition of the country. Therefore, this can certainly be the said
that this is an important criterion for evaluation of the relationship between the organizations and
the countries (Mirchi et al. 2012).

Sustainable energy refers to the energy form that can meet the global energy demand
without putting them in danger. This type of energy should be encouraged widely as it not only
helps in preservation of the non-renewable energy resources but also helps in reducing the
pollution of the environment. Energy is an important ingredient for the growth, prosperity and
social equity of the country. According to the statistics of researches, energy sustainability is the
key element for emerging economy (Dincer and Rosen 2012). Energy policy is therefore used to
balance the incurrence of the cost, losses and environmental damage cause by the incorrect usage
of energy resources with the achievement of economic growth and prosperity.
The basic framework for development of an energy policy includes preparation of a basic
energy document and performing a legal gap analysis. The key government ministries and
institution are to be consulted before developing the basic framework. Preparation of a basic
document and policy outlining is necessary for national consultation. Having a energy policy
framework is expected to increase the national awareness and the need for long-term national

energy policy. It is essential for generation of awareness on renewable energy and its benefits

as coal, oil and natural gases (Twidell and Weir 2015). The quantitative and the qualitative
policy analysis is necessary to evaluate the need for using the different elements of energy
sources and their sustainability.
Energy policy is a policy that addresses the different issues of energy development such
as energy production, distribution and consumption. These policies improve the energy
efficiency of a country that contributes to the economic development of the country by reducing
the oil import and improving the reliability of the electric grid.
Use of fossil fuel generally has an adverse effect on the non-renewable sources of energy
and therefore, proper energy policy is necessary in order to preserve these resources. The

gas supplies to support the energy demands. The energy policy ensures that the country makes
use of most of the renewable resources in order to provide secure basis of energy needs. This is

on the different elements of the energy sources and sustainability. This is essential for
eliminating or reducing the threats of climate change associated with the increasing use of fossil
fuels (Grubler 2012).

Therefore, from the above discussion, it can be concluded that it is important for any
organization to have a global energy outlook. This is important to evaluate the relationship
between the organization and the countries. If the organizations embark on using renewable
sources of energy, it is beneficial to the country both on economic and environmental ground.
The use of renewable energy resources indicates the decrease in the use of fossil fuels. The
different energy policies ensure the preservation of natural and non-renewable resources of
energy and encourage the use of renewable energy resources. The report discusses the impact of
the different energy frameworks in the sustainability of different energy resources. This report
gives and insight to the need of using renewable energy resources and the contribution of
