Introduction
In global events, huge investment is done so that these events can be organized
efficiently. Here, the events are organized in the form of music concerts, world cup, seminars,
sports competition etc. During global events, international audience is also invited that helps in
development of the country as a tourist destination. In addition to this, global events put a
profound impact on the economic growth by generating employment opportunities within the
host country. Global events also promote tourism as it formulates positive image of the host
nation at global level (Holland, 2018). The present study is classified in two parts. The first part
covers diversity, structure of various types of global events that are organized in the society.
Additionally, it also includes factors which have impact on growth of event industry. Impact,
value and legacy of the global events will also include in the following report. Here, negative and
positive impact of the global events will include in the second part of the study. Moreover,
dynamics of global events and impact of such events on society as well economy have been
included in the following report.

Globalization has been minimized the restriction on exchange on goods, services,
individuals and other equipments. Now, it is easy to travel in different countries which is
increasing diversity at globally. Different types of events are organized at global level such as
conferences, seminars, music concerts and more. In this context, classifications of events are
mentioned below:
Local or community event: Local events are conducted at small level with limited
amount of investment and resources. The purpose of such events is fun, entertainment for the
local audience (Ferreira‐Rodríguez and et. al., 2018).

Major events: These events are organized at large level and have the capability to attract
media, high number of visitors and more. For example One Grand Prix, TT race are some
examples of major events.

city. With this, it is possible to improve the reputation of the respective city. Edinburgh

in organizing the event. For this purpose, there are certain specific bodies such as Harrogate
