INTRODUCTION
Global events refers to those events which is organised only for limited period of time
and the reach of public in these events are very high and came from global arena. There are
number of countries are present which organise global events and the aim of these countries
behind these these events is to attract the visitors from all over the world and also to promote the
tourism in their country. There are different types of global events are held in world which has
Olympic games and different types of music festivals. This report is based on one of the well
known global events which is organised in every four year. The main aim of this events is the
entertainment of cricket lover and also contribute to the economic development of country. This
report states the diversity event industry at international level. There are different types of

It is very important for the success of any event in the world that the evaluation of their
diversity can be made effectively. There are large number of visitors attends these global events
and makes them more diverse. The brief discussion related to the diversity of global events are
given below:
A) Contribution of events towards economy
The scope of development by global events are not limited to any single country because many
countries are involved in this so they also take benefits. There are huge number of attendees are
present in these global events which makes them economically beneficial for the country. The
cricket world cup is one of the favourite and popular global event which has their own legacy.
The number of attendees in stadium is very less in recompared to the total viewership of the the
tournament. This events are host by different countries in every five years. All the arrangements
has to be done by host country. The level of expenditure in this events are very high but the
returns of these events are very high which makes their expenditure beneficial for the

organisation. The main source of income in this global events came from sponsorship, telecast
rights and many more. There are number of arrangements has to made by the host country such
as security of players, their accommodation and many more. The arrangement of this global

the basis of size, budget and venue. All these events has their own importance and requirements

in company other events. The number of public attend these events are very high and also
the attendees are belong to different nations and countries. These types of events are
usually focused by the media of many countries so it has huge media coverage. Some

 Regional events – It is generally refers to those types of events which is organised by
particular country with an aim to promote the tourism in the country. The government of
the respected country has developed many measures in their nation so that the tourist
from all over the world can be attracts. Some of the examples of this types are Dubai
Shopping Festival, Tomato Festival.
 Major events – It refers to those event which is organised by the local people of the
country with an aim to increase their revenue and also for the promotion of their tourism.
The examples of these events are Chinese New Year, Lantern Festivals
