How do medical practices and interventions affect your daily life? How do public health
policies and interventions affect your daily life? Medical practices and
interventions generally affect my daily life in different ways. They generally
improve my health. This is because I regularly check my weight to find out if am
obese or not (Agrawal, 2015). In case I not an increase in weight, I work hard to
maintain the recommended weight so that I don’t suffer from complications such
as diabetes and hypertension. Public health policies also affect my daily life in
many ways, one such policy is the sanitation policy that dedicates one to observe
cleanliness each time. This therefore affects the way I dispose waste products on a
daily life. Nutrition policies also affect my daily life as they recommend which
types of food I should eat and those that I should refrain from.
How do your consumer purchases affect the health of people who live in other parts of
the world? My consumer purchase affects the health of people living in other parts of the
world in many ways, one such effect is the increase in diabetes in other parts of the
world. As for me, I don’t buy fast foods since they are risk factors for diabetes (Kenny,
2017). If I don’t purchase them, chances are that they will be purchased by other people
in the world and this would lead to increased cases of diabetes. On the contrary, if I buy
healthy products like fruits, it can improve the health of other people since they will be
keen to understand why I consume them and they will also adopt the habit of purchasing
