planning results in more efficient production line, employee’s payment, customer’s comfort,
easier calculation process, gathering information for making decision as well as smooth
running of a business. The strategic planning acquire the importance in business management
to the authority of the employees, as well as the customers (Al Shobaki & Naser, 2016). As
an example of that in the industry of automotive GPS WAZE is more suitable by not only
updating the closest and correct route, but also it indicates the information of traffic condition
and updates comfortable route by mining the collected information in real time. Thus by
involving the new technology of IT strategic planning it is aimed to create and win the market
of working. The strategic planning process basically follows six corresponding process which
are favoured by the usage of Information system-
An overview of the process of planning- In this step, the leader or the organization
authority defines the long-term goal and establish a statement of mission,
depending upon that.
It basically explain the relationship between goal and the relationship of
the aim with the strategy.
Long-term Vision- It is an analysis between the human resource and technology
that the company is currently consisting of with the trends of market and the
future environment of technology that the company aims to achieve (Khanam,
Siddiqui & Talib, 2016). The strategic guideline and difference between the
current and aimed curve should be explained in this scope.
GAPs in the Strategic process- The difference of the curve between the system,
process and technologies at this instance and the long-term aimed goal that is
defines previously, is known as GAP (Vishnevskiy, Karasev & Meissner, 2016).
