Solo trips – Now days as there is lot of stress in ones life and that can lead one getting
depressed. So in these time solo trips are helpful for an individual as they can help one to get out
of these hectic life and travel to just spend some time alone in some place peacefully. So it can
be said this is a way to reconnect with one's soul and explore there life's goals. Solo travellers
meet new people, explore new places, overcome fear. As this give them freedom to explore the
place and themselves.
Short weekends getaways - This section of travel trends is getting most famous among then
new travellers. As now people are looking newer and nearer destination for a short trip with
minimum expenses. These are small vacation that are of 2-3 days that helps the new travellers to
get free minded from the pressure of just to get fresh from the old regular life. They choose new
destination which are near within 200-300 km. These are also know as short vacations

Travel blogging - This is a new thing in the travel and tourism industry as it is for the people
who loves to travel but can not get enough office holidays, or people who have passion to visit
new places but do not have economic support so for these type of people they can choose
travelling as a profession might be helpful for them as they can now travel as well as work at the
same time. This is attracting a lots of new age travellers a a travel bloggers can be a travel
photographer, a videographer and with these they post these on various social networking or
digital platform. As there page gets popular they start getting income from either sponsorship or
they can get paid through advertisement this is really beneficial for the young travellers those

Budget travel – These type of travel helps the new traveller to travel without any burden of
economic challenges. This helps in planning the complete trip meticulously and setting the
budget. When individual know there budget it is easier for them to plan the trip according to this.

meet the travel agent face to face for your work. But now as the time has changed people have
started to book this online that has made things easier and quick that helps increase the travel
rates this has helps in stimulating economic (growthHuYang, 2020).
Travel as business :- New age of travellers have made travelling a profession. They have started
travel blogging this means they record where they travel and how they travel and once they get
popular they start earning they help different people to know about places they can visit and also
they help to know about different food places that are best in there. This helps that small business
of that place to grow and also helps in increasing the popularity to that place this helps in
providing jobs and promoting tourism of that place.

Contact less payments – This is one of the biggest change ever as now people do not have to

provide a maximum part of the GDP. This is really beneficial for the country as it helps in

country a good amount of foreign exchange .
New options – As there are a lot of profession which are blooming such as travel bloggers, food
bloggers, ride bloggers these also helps in reducing the competition in the industry as these help
other people who never visited who are sitting so much far away from the place can now see
what the place has to offer and what all are the best restaurants or best street food of that place
this helps the people to know about them and when they visit that place they visit all those places
as well this helps in blooming the small street business and also help in boosting all the business
that are related to that place this helps in increasing the travel and tourism industry(Meoand et.al
2022).

Covid 19 or pandemic – As there was pandemic due to which people were not allowed to go out
of there houses. Which lead to increase in depression and stress and as a suddenly lockdown was
open people started to travel to the places that they wanted to travel and that lead them travel
also as there was so much loss in this the GDP of the country and the easy and the quick way to
recover the GDP is by increasing the travel and tourism industry and most of the company after
the Covid 19 started to open there country to travellers and UK government came up with
different schemes that will be a great opportunity for them so that they can easily boost up there
economy these are some of the things that helped in increasing the travel and tourism
industry(Pencarelli2020).
