Its offering includes consumer goods, basic groceries, DIY, toiletries, stationery and per supplies. The report provides clear description of different business functions like marketing, HR, finance, operations and others along with their interrelationship. MAIN BODY The business activities of the Wilko Retail Ltd., is effectively performed by different businessfunctionslikemarketing,HR,finance,operationsandothers.Alloftheseare interrelated with each other and supports in obtaining organisational goals in quicker manner. Each and every function is explained below: Human resource:Human resource department is every company is responsible for managing existing workforce and bringing fresh talent within the company as per its requirement (Chaturvedi, 2016). HR manager in Wilko Retail Ltd., plays essential role in its growth as it provide skilled workforce to company who performs assigned work in rightful manner. Main focus of HR manager is on providing effective working environment to employees which influences each staff to sustain longer within the company for longer period of time. This department is directly linked with marketing function as it provides skilled marketing executives to marketing head who later contributes in accomplishing goal of the respective department in quicker manner. Finance:The respective department is responsible for making budget for the company as well as each of its department. Furthermore, it issues required amount to these department for completing their activities in rightful manner. The main role of this department is to make adequate budget by analysing core requirement of each and every business function. Also, they must utilise available capital in such a manner that helps them out in attaining organisational goal in quicker manner. The respective department is interrelated with each and every business functions as communicates with them all while developing budget in rightful manner. Marketing:This department emphasises developing awareness of company's product and services among its potential customer (Tseng, Lim and Wu, 2018). The main role of this function in Wilko Retail Ltd., is to attract more and more customers towards the company and increase its sales performance. This department is directly linked with finance department as it
provides funds to marketing manager for executing their activities effectively and grabbing attention of more customers towards its store. Operations:This department basically performs all operational activity within the Wilko Retail Ltd., The main role of this department is to utilise all the inventory, handle money as well as cash, display placement store design etc.The main purpose of this department is to execute all regular based activities of store in significant manner. This department is directly linked with Human resource department as it provides them skilled workforce to execute their functional work in required manner. CONCLUSION From the above mentioned information, it is acknowledged that each and every function plays effective role in the growth of company. It works more effectively when all of the functions work collaboratively that leads to attainment of organisational goals in rapid manner.
