INTRODUCTION
Students faces various challenges during their their graduation that enable them to handle
challenging situation in efficient manner through using their skills and competencies. Main
objective of this report is to various business skills through working in team and through
participating in different challenges such as time-management, emotional intelligence and
communication. This report covers various graduate challenges like presentation challenge, t-
shirt challenge and apprentice challenge. Reflection on skills that are developed during the facing
challenges and SMART action plan to improve skills are explained in this report.

Analysis of challenges
Apprentice challenge:
The Apprentice challenge is related to taking internship in London School Of Science
And Technology that helps me to gain higher level skills and qualifications. Working in
academic institution facilitates me to improve my learning and experience. I have worked under
skilled and experienced faculty members that help me to gain exponential knowledge. Through
gaining professional qualification that develop various professional skills in my personality.
Working as a apprentice in LSST provides me various growth and development opportunities.
Some learnt skills are mentioned below:
Communication skill: In the time period of working in LSST as a apprentice, I have
maintained clear interaction with experienced teachers and students that improves my
communication skills and competencies (Argyle, 2021). Effective communication helps me to
communicate with others efficiently to develop mutual understanding.
Teamwork: Working in LSST as a apprentice improves my teamwork skill that enable
me to perform operations in group with efficiency. There are various task and assignments are
provides in group so this skill helps me to attain desirable outcome in determined time period.
Time management: In LSST all works and activities are performed according to
determined time period. I have arrange all activities of assignment against time limit that enable
me to perform operations on time. Time-management enables me to attain opportunities through
completing assigned task before timeline (Boltaboevich, 2020).

Business skills: I have improves various business skills through working in LSST such as
presenting ideas to others in efficient manner, developing presentation as well as taking efficient
decisions. It helps me to attain employment opportunity and gain determined goals and
objectives with efficiency and effectiveness.
Apprentice challenge:
T-shirt challenge
T-shirt challenge is related to producing t-shirt on which attractive logo or designs that
promotes specific brand or products. In university, I have assigned a assignment to launch t-shirt
that attract the attention of people. I have decided to print the name of lion and logo with black
colour on white t-shirt. I have targets young boys age between 12 to 30 because boys prefer to
wear color t-shirts for sports, travelling and even in regular usage. I have print the logo and
design of lion because it attracts boys. Initially, I have charged low prices for t-shirt because we
are launching t-shirts in market for first time. I have focused on providing good quality t-shirt on
low prices that provides competitive advantages over other competitors. There is specific budget
is prepared for producing t-shirts with logo of lion (Churchill, 2020). There are various
marketing campaigns are launched to spread awareness of t-shirt in market.
Communication skill: During producing the t-shirt printed with lion logo I have
communicate with customers to understand their needs and demands that improves my
communication skill. It enable me to convey my ideas, opinions and thoughts clearly to convince
customers to purchase these t-shirts.
Teamwork: I have involved in the challenge of developing t-shirt with lion logo and
picture. I have performed this task in group (Hawes, and Ansari, 2020). I have allocate all
members activities according to their interest area such as promotional activities, design logo,
developing budget and other that enable them to attain determined objectives with efficiency.
Time-management: To produce the t-shirt for Lion brand on which lion's picture is
printed with logo. Initially, I was not able to perform operations according to determined time
but later I have learnt how to perform activities of developing t-shirt on time that improve my
time-management skill.
Business skills: I have developed certain business skills through facing t-shirt challenge.
It facilitates me to develop effective planning, present ideas in influential manner and promote

products and services in market. It enable me to perform operations in defined job position that
lead business towards success.
Presentation challenge
I have worked in Tesco organisation which is leading retailing business of UK. There is a
challenge is provided to prepare presentation on performance evaluation of Tesco. I have
prepared attractive presentation that covers various topics such as current trends in supermarket
sector, current performance of organisation and its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and
threats as well as recommendation that improve overall performance of business. I have develop
various slides that consist reliable content that is collected through authentic sources. I have
conducted depth research to collect the data and use pictures that make presentation more
attractive (Kutnick, and Manson, 2021). Throughout the process of producing presentation, I
have learnt various skills that are mentioned below:
Communication skill: I have developed presentation on performance evaluation of Tesco
that describes current performance of organisation and its swot analysis. Presentation skills helps
me to present ideas and content that is covered in presentation in proper manner to develop
mutual understanding. This skill enable me to develop interest of viewers as well as engage them
with presentation till the end.
Team work: I have developed this presentation on performance evaluation with
management team that improve my team work skills. In the process of developing presentation,
I take initiatives to interact with other members as well as allocate task among them to attain
desirable goals in efficient manner.
Time-management: In organisation time plays important role in attaining success. I have
assigned a project to prepare presentation in limited time period. I have develop clear schedule
according to time that enable me to manage time and complete defined task properly
(Kyriakides, Anthimou, and Panayiotou, 2020). It helps me attain determined goals and
objectives in efficient manner.
Business skills: Presentation challenge improves my business skills because it enable me
to influence others through presenting ideas in professional way. Business skills helps me to
perform determined goals and objectives with efficiency. It enhances my research skill because I
have collected data from different reliable sources regarding Tesco to develop presentation.

Tuckman's theory of teamwork
Tuckman's theory is defined as the framework that includes various stages through
which team is formed. It's stages are started when group first meet and its stages are continued
till the end of determined project. Forming is the stage in which team members are interact with each other and allocate
task related work among all team members. In this stage, we have decided about team
members skills, background to allocate them work accordingly.
Storming stage weight of completing the project is assigned. I have analysed that, here
guidance of leaders are required disagreement between group members are raised that
creates conflict and impacts on performance level.
In Norming stage work is started to accomplish defined goals and objectives in efficient
manner. In this stage, we have resolve all conflicts that lead performance of group in
efficient manner. In Performing stage, all team members are aware about their strengths and weaknesses
that help to attain common objectives of group with efficiency. There is no supervision is
required to examine group performance that help to reduce cost.
Adjourning is the stage in which activities of project ends because all goals goals and
objectives are accomplished. I have prepared systematic documentation in the end of
project.
