Number of users – It can take up five or fewer users to work on software
simultaneously.
Functionality – Basic Financial Accounting & Reporting Functions such as
accounting for receivables and payables (Zhou, 2010).
Cost – Economical than the other two categories of accounting software.
b) Small & Medium Accounting Software ( Medium-End)
Suitability: Appropriate for Small and Middle sized firms
Number of users: It can allow on an around 25 employees at a time to use the
software application.

management of stores & stock items, personnel management, purchase and
sale functions etc.
