HEALTH AND SAFETY
They do not need to take any permission before entering in a service
providing organisation, this rule is made for surprise inspection so
commission can find the reality about the foundation. NHS is responsible for
proving training to their staff so they can learn new techniques and provide
better service to our patients.
It is duty of our management to buy us new and upgraded
equipment so we can reduce the time taken in dealing with one patents. This
will help us in serving more user in less time
Execute the policies which is made by organisation relating to
health care services.
NHS trust has various powers, it is their responsibility to check
whether the employee are following different rules which are stated in law.
Management of NHS trust is accounting for reviewing the policies
related to health and safety, they are responsible for making necessary
changes in the rules.
My organisation provide service to various areas like children medical, elderly etc. They all have
different priorities and needs. Most of the patient in my foundation are are above 60. At this age
they have to face more than disease at a time. Their eye sights get weak so first I will try to
concentrate on this problems by replacing all the light bulb. I will also give them a doctors will
remain with them for 24 hours because they need medical assistance in regular interval of time. I
will buy new equipment for mopping so workers can dry the floor in less period of time
Individual health context – Understanding the behaviour of a sick person must be priority
for service provider. This will help them in finding the core reason behind a particular type
of behaviour. Once service provider understood the problem they should start treatment
accordingly. Continuous cooperation is necessary for finding the scope of improvement in
the condition of service user.
Roles and responsibility of management Health and safety priorities at workplace
Effective communication is necessary for stopping incidents like slipping on the
floor etc. I will give proper instructions to my staff member that they have to
avoid mistakes like leaving the floor wet, because they do not have any idea
about its consequences. I will also ask them to deliver this important message
to visitors so every person who is entering in our premises can take care of
his/her safety. This data is has direct relation with their personal like, beliefs,
criminal records etc. We can only deliver this information when someone show
us his/her ID proof. In case government ask about any matter which is related
to life or death of person than we are obligated to give them particular info.
Health and safety act 1974 – This law states that employer has to keep the
workplace safe in order to assure good health of the employee. Companies
who are operating in various sector has to take necessary measures like paste
poster at workplace regarding various types of dangers. This is essential for
saving workers for severe injuries, this act also has rules regarding healthy
environment at the workplace.
Administration of safety and health at work regulations 1992 – According to this
act, management of a health care organisation should keep a track records of
various risks which are present at workplace. They should also provide training
to the worker so they can take necessary steps in an emergency situation.
Reviewing of system, policies and procedure
Abstract
Every day lot of major accidents happens in many organisations. They health and
safety commission recently added some new provision so they can make regulations
according to recent changes in trends. Earlier they were not very serous about any
miss happening that take place in any foundation but they are responsible for
investigating the whole matter in given time period so they can find shortcomings and
take necessary action.
