INTRODUCTION
In health and social care, health and safety is an important
things which is acknowledged by all the health care
practitioners.

Review of policies and process for communicating
information
Following are the number legislation to support this:-
• Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
• Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations
1992
• Food Safety Act 1990

Responsibilities in health and social care regarding
the management
There are certain responsibilities which are given to local
bodies as well as national health care authority. This also
include professional who are part of the health care bodies.

Health and Safety priorities for health and social
care workplace
In the case of disabled person following are the context
needed for the health care priority.
• Individual Health Context
• Safety Context

Importance of Risk assessment in decision making
related to policies
Risk assessment includes implementation of the modern risk
managing plan and to make sure that all the hazards are
controlled properly.

Analysis of the impact of one aspect of health and
safety policy
With the health and safety regulation 1981 the employers
make sure that first aid tools are given and there is training
of it that how it can be used.

Conflicts came regarding implementation of health
and safety measures
There can be dilemma on the implication of resource, rights
to service users and variation in the priorities between the
stakeholders.

Monitoring of the health and safety policies
It is the crucial part of the management to monitor and
review the policies and this is required so that cost moral
and legal legislation can be reviewed.

Own contribution in placing the health and safety
needs of individuals
There has to be personal and professional evaluation and
with this my action will be done so that risks related to
health and safety is reduced.
