This assignment provides an in-depth analysis of health and safety policies within the National Health Service (NHS). Based on a survey of staff members, it evaluates their satisfaction with safety equipment, awareness of high-pressure system risks, and effectiveness of training and development sessions. The study also assesses the implementation of health and safety legislations and regular communication between employees and management regarding safety issues.

INTRODUCTION
Health and social care is a term that refers to services that are available from health and
social care providers in UK. Questionnaire is a research tool or instrument that consist a series of
various questions with the aim of gathering information from various respondents. The selected
organisation in health and service care provider is NHS (National health and service) in which
the study pose a number of critical questions regarding health and safety at workplace.

Interpretation: The survey is based on NHS health and safety policies and it is done on the staff
that has been taken from various department in NHS. From 100 respondent, 70 were totally
satisfied with the safety equipment provided by the company for safety issues. On the opposite
side 20 were stated that they are not satisfied with the equipments and out of 100, 10 respondent
have partial state of mind with the satisfaction level and they think that company required further

improvement in their safety equipment. From the overall result it can be said that company is
providing proper and satisfactory equipments regarding health and safety issues but they also
should focus on improving the existing safety equipments.

Interpretation: From the 100 respondent that are working in NHS, 60 were agreed that the
training and development given by the organisation is effective and trained them of how they can
co-operate with the health and safety policies and implementation in the company. 40 response
come in opposed that stated that the training is not appropriate and proper in the company. The
result stated that the organisation provide proper training and development to their staff to enable
them to effectively co-operate with the heath and safety policies.

Interpretation: Regarding risk associated in the company, 60 were members from the selected
staff of 100 people for the survey from various department mentioned that they are well aware
about the high pressure system at the workplace and understand their responsibilities regarding
health and safety in that situation, whereas, 25 were not at all aware about the risk in the area
where they are working and 15 were had less understanding regarding what they have to do in
such issue.

Interpretation: In this question 75 people from 100 respond that company implement all the
necessary laws and legislation in the organisation regarding health and safety concern, whereas,
25 out of 100 tick the second answer and mentioned that NHS does not have proper implement
of safety legislation at workplace. From the overall result it can be mention that company
implement all the necessary laws in the working environment regarding the health and safety
issues.

Interpretation: In this question, the result stated that 80 out of 100 respondent were agreed that
they get proper information that help them in executing their responsibilities towards any safety
issues in the organisation and on the other hand, 20 members from the staff out of 100 were
disagreed that there were lack of communication on the safety issues between them and the
management. The result stated that the communication channel in the company is proper and
management are well communicated with the employees regarding safety issues.
CONCLUSION
From the present study it has been evaluated that health and safety is an important aspect
in any organisation that is required to consider. The research was based on the secondary data
sources but for gathering the current information, survey based quantitative data has been done
through sample method. From the further research it has been analysed that company provided
proper training and development to their employees regards any type of aspect in co-operation in
health and safety.
