INTRODUCTION
Health is being in good and sound mood and with regards to the World Health
Organization (WHO), health refers to a state of mind of absolute physical, mental and social
well-being and not just the absence of any health associated impairment, disorders or any
infirmity. Health also refers to state of being free from all the illnesses or injuries and is directly
associated to quality life (Benke and et. al., 2020). The modern and contemporary world is
undoubtedly stressful, and holds abilities to switch off from work being a prominent issuances.
In the contemporary world, people have to cope up with the modern times, to which one needs to
have strong will power and be encouraged for each aspect. Keeping healthy keeps in one
individual healthy and maintain a sound lifestyle as this aids in preventing and keeping free from
chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular disease and cancer. There are several and numerous
significances that lies with the healthy lifestyle such as having more energy in daily activities,
boosts up immunity, and aids in keeping the medication bill down. This report entails the social
isolation and social distancing (Botchwey and et. al., 2022). The report also comprises fear and
worries with the health and associated social media, social contact of people in the contemporary
and modern world.
Social isolation and social distancing
In the contemporary world, the modernity in the terms of health has vastly altered and
modified. There are several studies which shows that perceived social distancing and social
isolation is a significant component in leading a healthy life. In addition, the health associated
quality life during the Covid-19 pandemic taught us the right path of living a healthy lifestyle.
Perceived social isolation is merely not just for the elderly people but it is significant fir all the
age groups (Jacob and et. al., 2020). Indeed, there are young adults who appear to be suffering
greatly from the pandemic scenario as they were dealing the pressure of being isolated from their
loved ones at times. Social isolation and social distancing is related to poor and unhealthy life
satisfaction across environment, other work associated stress. In addition, there are lower trust of
government and business and higher magnitude of use of substances as a coping approach. Stress
and social isolation with social distancing can majorly affect the health and immune functioning
of an individual. Indeed, it is necessary to decline the perceived isolation phase to an individual's
life as it is essential during a time when an individual need strong immune function to fight to off

a novel virus. Social isolation has been associated with cognitive impairment, and associated
declined immunity in an individual, incline risk of cardiovascular disorders (Jayman, 2021).
Social isolation and social distancing have been determined as the risk factors for poorer
physical and mental health risks and inclined mortality rates.
Social contact and use of social media
Social media is a influential platform which aids in reaching out to varied media channels
and the people can efficiently see their loved ones and what daily activities they are doing in
their lives. Social contact with people lead to a healthy social connection among the masses. This
majorly aids in building up healthy and sound relationships with the people around them. This
lightens up the mental health conditions of the people. In addition, this lightens up the mood and
makes feel happier, majorly lowers the risks of dementia in individual. Social interaction is good
d for health as this helps in maintaining sound brain health and promotes healthy sense of
belonging, safety and individual's security. With social media, communication with loved ones is
easy, and this promotes healthy relationship with the other individual. Use of social media is
extensively significant as this potentially evolves the health outcomes due to constant
communication with the health care professionals with regards to their difficulties. This aids in
building and developing a professional network, enhances the personal awareness among the
people of the society efficiently (Kravchenko, 2020). Social media platforms are the low-cost
tools and a major platform which can efficiently aid in addressing the issues with the public
health nutrition, particularly in the regions where the situation with the healthy nutritional
contained lifestyle is very poor.
Worries and fear
Fear and worries if stick for a prolonged period, something as a ill-natured concern going in the
back of the mind then this can majorly impact an individual's heart conditions. This can more
likely to have raised blood pressure which is known as hypertension, a heart attack, or it can also
be accompanied by a stroke. In the modern world, people are more incline towards raised levels
of anxiety, and this can majorly trigger the stress hormones that makes the heart beat more faster
and harder (Nargiza, 2022). Lifestyle accompanied with the intensified fear and worries can lead
to many mental illnesses such as anxiety, depression, and other mental disorders. The modern
world is a risky place and elicits many supported fears in people. In addition, these risks then can
lead in creating a new health associated risk for health and well-being. Situational feelings of

fear, anger, worries, and other associated mental health difficulties majorly affects the appetite,
body energy, individual's desires and their interests in life. There is difficulties in concentration
and decision-making abilities. Fear and worries can worsen the chronic health conditions in
people and other associated mental health conditions efficiently. Fear and worries can elevate the
use of alcohol, illegal drugs and other misuse of prescription drugs among masses impacting the
health.
Increased loneliness and levels of being housebound
There are many factors which affects the risk of being home-bound in people, this
majorly entails the social isolation and races within the society. Loneliness is more inclined due
to higher rates of depression, anxiety and suicides within the masses (Smyth, 2019). Loneliness
and social isolation or home-bound conditions that statuses for possible risks factors for inclined
mortality rates among the young and older adults. Elevated loneliness and levels of being
housebound majorly impacts the mental health of the people. Home-bound situations with people
evokes their mental pressure and then they tend to work adversely in their day-to-day life.

world is beyond question stressful, and clench power to switch off from work being a salient
issue. In the present-day world, citizenry have to get by up with the contemporary times, to
