becomes highly necessary to empower and engage the individuals regarding its main
causes, effects and interventions. Diabetes has led to an increase in mortality rate thus
provide people the well-through knowledge on proper health behaviour is essential.
Aim
To make people aware of harmful effects of diabetes and provide the effective
knowledge to overcome it. The main aim is to enhance the health of people through
stimulating adoption of efficient measures for surveillance and prevention of diabetes
especially in low and middle-income countries.
Objectives
To reduce the rates of obesity among low as well as middle-income group from 8%
to more than 7%.
To meet with the colleges and universities for informing them about the harmful
effects of diabetes and increasing commitment among them.
To utilize technology for increasing the departmental communication to more than
25% in the upcoming year of 2020.
To implement the various systems and practices for improving the use of social
media in disseminating information on health and diabetes.

The main reason behind developing the diabetes among
large number of people is lack of physical activity. In this
campaign, people will be encouraged to undergo a range of
physical activity to remain fit. Among this, Yoga proves to
be effective which eventually reduces the blood sugar and
hence reduces the glucose level in body.
Medication
People will be made aware of the different potential
medication which proves to be effective in reducing glucose
level like Metformin, Sulfonylureas etc. They will be given
free sample along with treating them during the campaign.

This campaign made people aware of the
harmful effects of the diabetes and hence

knowledge. More than 25% of the people were
treated in this campaign.
