study is based on analysis of Nature of the Health and Social Care sector or industry in its wider
context and Specific environment along with determining the Prospects of entering into the
chosen sector or industry as a career pathway. Beside this, selection of The Derbyshire
Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has been made for current report which is one of the leading
provider of the mental health, learning disabilities and substance misuse services within the
Derby City and Derbyshire country. This project also comprises of discussion of Structure,
Culture and function of an organisation along with relationship between the organisation and its
stakeholders.

completely focus and emphasis in creating improved social profit in order to meet and fulfil the

J. eds., 2021, it has been analysed that the Health and Social Care sector or industry is the one
which consists of any organisation that is engaged in providing healthcare support to people.
This, health care support to people and community provided by health and social care sector
comprises of hospitals, dentists, along with all form of specialist support like physiotherapy, and
social care support. Apart from this, the social care support and health care sector also consists of
nursing homes, foster caring, and nurseries. Thus, in the wider context the and specific
environment the health and social care sector comprises of any organisation or service which
helps people live more independent and a healthier life.
