in build up a strong team and promote good
culture in working environment.
Opportunities Threats
I have completed my last session assignment on a
social care project report. During my project I
have joined medical campaign and prepared a
report on several different cases that add on a great
value to my knowledge. It helps me to explore
many new cases, monitor and manage various
tasks conducted in campaign. I have got an
opportunity to enhance understanding relevant to
campaign conduction and manage timings, crowd,
manage all the collected samples, etc.
Also to add some more value to my experience I
have joined a multi-speciality hospital there which
improvise my knowledge to deal with patients and
interact with their families. I learnt to coordinate
with present health team and prepare project on
development plan for many patients (Allen,
Palermo, Armstrong and Hay, 2019).
My threat is that I am feeling a bit low
since few days and not focusing on my
health due to workload.
Sometimes feeling of frustration and
irritation level leads to think about that I am
not good enough in managing my personal
and professional life altogether (Ardian,

By using Gibb's reflection I would like to share my experience in managing the health
department. The task I found challenging in achieving my goal is to dealing with training
sessions. Lack of trainers in health department due to their busy schedule in dealing with
patients; made it difficult for them to manage time to train new joiners with basic knowledge.
Trainees have joined from different regions of nation have different mind set, culture, behaviour,
attitude, lifestyle, thinking capacity, etc. It is important for them to know each other and build up
a bond so that they can understand each other and get prepared of getting trained as a team
(Munn and et. al., 2021). In medical health department it is important to work collaboratively and
I feel that without proper interaction and sharing communication, it is impossible for a team to
work effectively and support each other. So I decided to allocate some free time to new trainees
as well communicate with trainers to manage time and make a schedule with adding time to
training sessions. I analysed the results of strategy made by them. All trainees have observed to
develop a bond between them and also managed to conduct training sessions by trainers by
managing their schedule in an effective way. It boosted up my confidence about my approach
and help me to develop the skills of management and adopt strategies to get the work done
effectively.
I understand the concept of professional relationship. When I joined the hospital I was
assisting a supervisor who has been working there fro 1.5 years. He was so dedicated and helped
me to learn and develop a lot of skills regarding the management. He showed me how things get
done in healthcare sector, what I have to do on a daily basis and exposed me to various tasks to
bring my work into practice. As I had no experience in managing a healthcare system so I felt a
bit nervous, and low confident to take charge of my responsibilities in a healthcare sector. But

my supervisor has observed and helped me to achieve the tasks. I felt nervous when about to start
and was a bit unsure about completing the training in healthcare setting. But when I finished a
week and realised the opportunity to develop my skills as well as enjoyed the work. So I decided
to carry on my experience in health and social care department (Reljić, Pajnkihar and Fekonja,
2019). When working alongside supervisor I felt how hard working and dedicated he is towards
his duty and sense of providing service to society. I found him very effective and efficient in
managing multiple departments altogether with all the written documents and data reserved. He
really made me feel welcoming and assist me to understand and take my responsibilities. After
taking charge of my duty I realised every department has different needs, different facilities need
to be provided. Sometimes it become difficult to develop the planning and framing strategies to
manage the staff but all unfavourable and challenging environment creates an opportunity for me
to think alternatively and get ideas to do work. Even though I have learned a lot about managing
and regulating the functions in hospital environment I still did not felt confident enough to my
ability to manage the work at health and social care department due to my weakness of lack of
confidence. But along with time I continued to work and learn new things that help me to
develop and adopt appropriate strategies to manage the situations. I started to build up the
confidence for my management skills that I have learned from my classes and through reading
articles and relevant books.
I have a good professional relationship with my supervisors, staff and trainee's team. We
as a working or serving team always help and support each other in best possible way. I would
like to share my experience once when a investigation team has arrived to the hospital. During
investigation they check every possible department if the hospital included functioning of
management staff. On that day two persons from the management staff were on leave and I had
to arrange every thing on my behalf to make arrangements of the investigation team along with
management of records, revealing of data, and everything which starts to become too hectic fro
me. Nursing staff has helped me in sorting out the files, and folders, managing them. These
illustrations shows the development of effective and supportive professional relationships.
Apart from that I always wanted to get the opportunity to learn something different from
my dedicated zone. On of my supervisor have discussed with me about the upcoming
international project of bringing and installing new equipments to the hospital premises. I
requested sir and took charge of tracking all the details from the clients regarding the order,

dispatch, delivery of items, cost discussion, everything. I was confident about my skills and
developed a sheet to maintain all the records provided by client's team and used to update all the
details received by me to the supervisors. I have participated in many team meetings and
suggested many points to receive order in a cost-effective way (National Academies of Sciences,
Engineering, and Medicine, 2019). Supervisor team really appreciated me for my planning which
boost up my confidence to next level and encourage me to participate more in such meetings and
represent my innovative and unique plans fro the betterment of organisation and society.
In my professional field, I have also developed the skills of resolving professional
conflict. I would like to share one of my experience I have developed from my working
environment. In hospital I have received complaints about some of staff members to do
discrimination and inequality with patients. I investigated fro staff and evaluated the situation to
confirm about the received complaints. After analysing the whole situation I decided to sort out
the matter on my own level. I warned the staff to maintain the decorum of the hospital
administration and explain them their services, roles and responsibilities should be equal for
every patient irrespective of their cast, religion, culture, sex, etc. As such activities can influence
the reputation of hospital as well. In healthcare department I think every professional staff
service provider should understand their roles, values, and rights while serving for people. Every
individual has right to get proper and adequate treatment for their treatment and even to take
decisions for choice of life. I have reported an serious issue of discrimination within the hospital.
One accident case has arrived to the hospital of a black person and a nursing staff denied to take
charge of the patient as she used to believe that black people does not deserved to get treated
prefer to whites. Many discriminative white people think that black people have thick and strong
skin. So they does not deserve to be considered as a emergency case. A big issue has arose,
somehow I managed to control the situation and ordered to take case under consideration
immediately and took a strict action against the nurse (Smalley and et. al., 2020).
I think I need to make much improvements to my knowledge that will help me to assist
my team to work effectively and promote a sense of team working in them. I should learn and
know strategies to bring team members together. To promote team working in them I have
decided to bring them a survey-based project on a medical condition and tell them to pre[are a
report within one month along with their jobs. All the team members collaborate and decided to

assignment does not impact their job roles and they may maintain the balance between the both
works. I found strategy to be successful and whole team show full participation and enthusiasm
towards the task (Rolfe and Freshwater, 2020). I have analysed from my working experience is
that the best way to deal with any situation is to remain calm and think strategically to control the
situation in an best possible way. From working in such a load full environment I have realised
that about myself that I become good with handling pressure and developed the ability to think
calmly.
Since few weeks I have developed a level of confidence about my skills and get to learn a
lot from different challenges and situations. I understand the sensitivity and significance of the
department in which I am serving. My contribution and experience to the development and carry
on the management department in a multi-speciality hospital will help me a lot and add values to
my skills. I believe my efforts to provide nursing and medical staff; management services were
particularly important and useful. Often supervisor team also get impressed with my
communication and convincing skills (Marshall, 2019). As learning is a continuos process and an
individual should not stop learning the things at any change to learn new things, make better
changes to do tasks easily, try to approach any new idea, etc. I think I should always too be open
for changes and should think about strategies to do any tasks better, easy and effective way.
When I recruited as management leader in the hospital premises I saw many limitations
in the hospital like shortage of beds in many departments, improper lights installation, improper
waste disposal. As a management leader it was my responsibility to address all the managements,
facilities, and resources and inform it to the HR teams. And then conduct meeting and plan for
suitable strategies to fulfil the requirements (Gardner, 2019). Once I have got an opportunity to
become a leader of an health team. This opportunity has given me the chance to manage and
control the team. By developing confidence to my personality I would be able to assign work,
maintain good professional relationships with them. I encourage my team to maintain supportive
cultural environment and always work in coordination to bring best results with good team
working. By working in the environment I would be able to develop understanding about the
importance of support within the team. The premises and working environment has given me
many challenges but I accepted them and always intends to learn and develop skills by facing
them with a positive attitude. (Elverson and Klawiter, 2019).

As a management leader it was my responsibility to maintain data of budget in hospital
and take charge of providing necessary facilities for the patients, visitors. When I first joined the
premises I had no idea about the budget management especially in hospitals. But hospital
supervisor team helped me along with other team members of management in understanding all
the expenses and sales undertaken by the hospital and trained us to maintain the data. And now I
have learnt sufficient and capable to create quarterly and annual budget for the hospital. I got to
know that a hospital administration management team have to pay their responsibilities in
supervising daily administrative operations, monitor all the expenses ad suggest cost-effective
solutions and creating budgets, prepare work schedules, provide training to new employees,
resolving issues with patients, maintain up-to-date records in healthcare regulations including
employee records with complete confidentiality, reply to the queries raised by professionals
related to the management issue, develop and implement policies which are effective in
proceeding various operations.
I have developed the understanding about the importance and significance of maintaining
confidentiality in healthcare system. Any of the hospital staff cannot compromise with privacy
and not allowed to infringe the law of confidentiality until any special case arrived like any sort
of police investigation, or demanded by patient's relatives itself (but ion this case also hospitals
have to take permission from patient whether they are allowed to share the information with their
relatives or not).

and take charge of providing necessary facilities for the patients, visitors.
