 The presentation is based on the starting on new cake business named FRESH CAKES in UK
market that would sell variety of healthy cakes.
 Also, the presentation will discuss in detail about this business plan through conducting the
feasibility studies and identifying the potential market opportunities.

MOTIVATION FOR SELECTION OF
BUSINESS
 The business selected for this project is cake business shop in UK named as “ FRESH CAKES ”
and it has been selected because of the growing health issues and increasing number of people
liking for sweet dishes.
 Moreover, the motivation behind this project was that opening of such store would allow the
people of UK to live healthy lifestyle without compromising their current needs and choices
(Tien and et.al., 2019).
 Furthermore, this project would allow the UK people to consume variety of cake dishes on their
special occasions without thinking much about the health problems..

PROCESS OF CONDUCTING
 For this business idea proper market research had been conducted so that detailed
requirement and need of the UK people might be identified.
 Moreover, this business idea was taken in form of group discussions and interview
sessions to know how many people are conscious about health and how much are in
favor of new product business (Javed, Yasir and Majid, 2019).
 Furthermore, brainstorming method was adopted through interview sessions where
people were asked about the sweet dishes that are liked by them so that accordingly
those items might be added in menu list.

 Product feasibility: The project is feasible according to the changing business environment and the
growing health issues in the UK people
 Target audience: The target market for this cake business would be all the people that are living in and
around the UK. Also, this cake shop would be opened through the store in London main market area and if

 Organizational feasibility: It is feasible because there are very limited shop in UK that are following this
concept and hence number of competition would also be less at the initial stage.
