In context to Heathrow Airport, the milestones provide deeper and better understanding of
the overall project with the help of various tools, techniques and methods of the project life
cycle. The scope statement shows the project’s objectives and its boundaries in terms of its
milestones, budget and deliverables.
Work Breakdown Structure
The work breakdown structure is considered to be a management tool that comprises of a
step by step approach in order to complete the project with the use of several moving pieces
(Lee, J.Y. and Lee, S.W.H., 2018).
Time Management
Gantt chart is the most useful and powerful technique for showing the activities that is
performed against the time. This chart is basically representing a set of activities in which at the
left side it reflects the chart of a list of the activities and at the top it shows the time scale. In the
chart, there are bars that represent the activities that is done and the length of the bar shows the
duration of the whole activity.
