Introduction
Heritage can be defined as traditions,
monuments, objects and cultures that are passed
by previous generations for providing value to
the people. It is related to historic things and
cultural values which provide some worth to the
individuals if it will be preserved for a long
period of time.
Attractions
In United Kingdom, there are several attractive
sites which draw the attention of people. For
example: Frontiers of the Roman Empire are also
known as Forts of modern Germany and
Blaenavon Industrial Landscape that includes
public buildings, quarries and workers' house.
Cultural heritage
There are approximately twenty nine heritage
sites which have own significance or cultural
value according to their national or regional
lifestyle as well as language that need to be well
maintained by the concerned authorities. For
example- Tower of London is a symbol of power
and second one is Royal Botanical Garden which
is helpful for that person who wants to study
about ecology and botany.
Natural
Along with attractive sites, there are also many
natural sites that give pleasant experience to the
people such as Marine Zone in Gough Island,
national park, forest, etc.
Conclusion
Maintaining regional goals assist in developing
cultural or heritage sites that help in developing
and improving the travel and tourism industry in
UK.
