INTRODUCTION
There is a high independence in the cultural heritage and the tourism industry in the
UK. With the advent and growth of the tourism industry, the cultural heritage is also
developing which is focused on the preservation of the cultural heritage of the
country so as to attract more tourists, the cultural industries thus add to the GDP of
the countries by becoming a prospective source of the employment opportunities.
This assignment will help to gain insights into the different purposes of the attractions

facilities easily which leads to the
growth and development of this sector
(Parry, 2013).
Heritage is referred to the
conglomerate of the cultural and
natural environment of business that
consists of the cultural practises, bio-
diversity, collections of old times and
other places of historic importance
(Millar, 2016).
Importance of Heritage and culture
Due to the development of the heritage
and cultural industry, the
competitiveness of the travel and
tourism industry reports that in 2017

employment opportunities and has

that ultimately has helped to add to the
