Executive Summary
This assignment highlights the perception of globalization by Pankaj Ghemawat. The
phenomenon of globalization is overestimated. The statistics available are also miscalculated.
Though globalization has taken place worldwide, yet the extent of globalization is much less
than, what the people think it to be. The Online tool to explore different countries 5
dimension by Hofstede highlights the culture of Australia and compares it with the culture of
India. The Australian culture, as highlighted by the online tool is similar to the actual culture
of the people of Australia. The people of Australia prefer freedom as well as privacy, unlike
the people of India.
