Introduction
A lot of children in school currently struggle with their studies as a result of different factors
which do not augur well with them or their academics. To address this, I aim to set up a home
tutoring company where we would source for parents whose children have this challenge
VALUE PROPOSITION
The business basically is an educational platform offering value added bespoke one on one private
tutoring/coaching lessons to a mixed variety of children with the age range as specified above. This
service enables the child to get private lessons on class work, home work and any additional lessons
covering areas of study where the child has difficulty understanding or grasping while seated in the
classroom.
BUSINESS MODEL
The company will operate as a go between for parents who desire to have tutors to help coach their
children and basically source for experienced teachers who are well versed and grounded in the
subjects that they currently teach in the schools where they work, and will assign them to these
children after undergoing a rigorous interview and selection process.

1.0 Nature of The Business
As a parent and a mother of 5 children with ages ranging from 2 to 10 years, the whole
concept of kids going to school isn’t lost on me or my children. Regular conversations with them,
their peers and other parents always highlight the challenges of teaching as the teachers are under
pressure to deliver optimally and on time and definitely its not every child that can follow the pace
set out. Some kids are naturally slow learners while some are quick on the draw; some tend to have
certain parts or subjects explained to them more than once for them to fully grasp it while some
could be intellectually challenged and need special form of coaching in order to catch up.
For my kids, I had made up my mind earlier on that I would provide boosts for any area or
subjects where I detect any weakness and took out time to look for, interview and select top notch
tutors/teachers that are experts in their subjects and have them school my kids. The result was
immediate and very positive and it occurred to me that I could actually start as a business and solve
the challenges other parents were going through. This led to the birth of NUELA TUTORS, a bespoke
home tutoring agency that would cater to the educational needs of struggling kids
Nuela Tutors is different in the sense that all our services are bespoke and specially tailored
to the child in question. Before a new client is taken on board, we take out time to interview the
child, understand his strength and weakness and then fashion out a comprehensive study plan
centred around him or her. This helps narrow down the areas to concentrate on and prioritise the
educational plan for the said child.

students, peers and other parents in order to understand their problems and provide individual
learning solutions for their teaching difficulties. This is the distinguishing factor for the company as it
helps promote excellent education and provide students better learning opportunities.
The key resources which will be needed to start the enterprise are financial resources,
human resources, physical resources (teaching supplies) and digital technology for supporting e-
learning. The key partners for the organization are the teachers who will be employed for providing
education to students along with suppliers of teaching material. The revenue stream will be the fees
paid for the teaching services. Costumer relationship will be established through social media, emails
and mobile communication. In addition to this online and offline parent meeting to discuss the
progress of the students will also be completed to maintain consumer relationship. This will help the
company get successful results and establish distinguished brand image compared to other tutoring
brands.
