 The presentation will discuss different cultural, social, personal and psychological
factors that influence consumer behaviour and attitudes within a hospitality context.
 The presentation will be on how consumer trends are changing due to the impact of
digital technology.
 The study will analysis factors that influence consumer behaviour and attitudes are
changing and driving trends in hospitality.
 Lastly the presentation will be on critical analysis of the emerging trends in consumer
behaviour and attitudes using specific examples from the hospitality industry to support
presentation.

Examine the different cultural, social, personal and psychological factors that
influence consumer behaviour and attitudes within a hospitality context.
 Consumers behaviour is the study for how individual takes decisions for spending of available resources like
time, money and efforts or for consumption of resources in relation to what they buy, when they buy, how they
buy, etc. Various factors that influence the consumers behaviour are
 Cultural factor: In this factor the person the buying behaviour is due to the set of values, preferences and
perceptions at the early stages of childhood.
 The behaviour of consumers develop a pattern from his culture. Various factors of cultural factors are culture,
sub culture and social class. In hotel Hilton culture is more important as the consumer prefers the product and
services which influences them towards their culture.
